Overall, a good ending to the arc. I enjoyed the episode. Animation could've been a bit better, but I'm not complaining much. They managed to fit in the last 2 chapters in nicely, didn't feel rushed at all.
Well Thriller Bark is officially over.
Did they used the Brook new music theme as a Nakama?
(You know, the theme at the middle of the episode that every strawhat has)
Wow, a surprising lack of posts in this thread, considering how the episode aired like, 10 hours ago… Anyway,

Wowza, Toei apparently does realize that there's title page stories in the manga. If only they'd be smart enough to do something better with it instead of turning it into easter eggs. :getlost:

The eyecatch? Yes and no: it´s a slow tone that ends with a few notes of Binks´ sake.

I couldn´t enter in the forum the whole weekend. Maybe it happened to more people too
Yeah, I couldn't even get on the board since Saturday night a half hour before OP came on.
Yeah I had the same, couldn't get online.
But nice epi. I hope they make the next filler arc something nice =/
And quick 2 xD. I want Duval!
I really liked the episode. They handled everything well. The only thing that was a wtf moment for me was the Coupe de Burst at the end of the episode. Don't tell me that this will be the introduction to a filler arc (rather then just random fillers).
Think it was just a good way to end the arc. I'm sure Oda would have done a Coup de Burst too if he was looking to finalize the arc rather than continue it straight to the next arc.
Is this true? Filler with Foxy pirates next time? Just saw it on veoh.

Oh good, I wasn't the only one then.
Anyway, I liked this episode. A good way to finally cap off the arc. I thought they handled the mysterious monsters in the mist really well. Made me go all ''Holy shit!'', rather than just ''Damn.'' like the manga did. I also couldn't help but snidely remark ''Yeah, keep thinking that you're going to Fishman Island. That's right…''
Anyway, about the preview, well, Brook looks fuckin' weird in a towel. And, uh, fanservice. Though I guess Foxy shirtless and Franky hanging around in the buff will be enough to counteract that.
Skeleton really have no fanservice so at least that won't be disturbing at all.
Overall, the arc is over, Brook has an eyecatch, the creature at the end was creepy and…was it just me or did that mermaid look a bit like a blond, finned version of "you know who"? (hint: they mentioned her name in that moment)
This episode was a great way to end the arc ^^
Brook's Eyecatcher was awsome X3
and the next episode's gonna be really funny, even if it is filler, cause I love episodes where they have conflicts with the Foxy crew XD
Liked seeing the florian triangle monster again. Reminds me of one of those ancient greek myths, like Scylla and Charybdis or the Norse Kraken.
ya split head is back
Foxy: Split…split-head :(
Watched it again and I realized that they left out Laura's question if there was something in the mist. Why the hell did they do that?
There is going to be a filler arc next. One Piece has finally went with the cliche(I think that's how you spell that) and put in a "beach" episode. They were at a water park in the episode preview. They are bringing back Foxy who says he has developed a new power.

Icebarge, eh? Just how many spellings are we gonna get of that poor man's name?
Watched it again and I realized that they left out Laura's question if there was something in the mist. Why the hell did they do that?
They also left out the Risky Brothers telling everyone about Zoro and Sanji's actions after the crew leaves and they changed the crew to just cheering instead of smashing the mugs into Brook's face at the end. Odd, but otherwise a nice episode.
Also, I noticed that we actually got a shot of Brook's WANTED poster in the episode. Looks like the anime is going with the "Brook" spelling for now. Or was that already addressed and I missed it..?
man skeleton brooke looked disturbing.
what the hell is that thing on his back? looks like a skeleton backpack. they really shouldn't reveal brooke in his skeleton before the manga does.
Awesome episode,I can't wait for the Foxy Filler

Probably the same reason they never had Lola say, "These two are just my type" to the Risky Brothers, in regards to Zoro and Sanji, when they were rescuing them after being knocked out by Oz. They probably took it out for time reasons…that'd be weird if that really WAS the reason.
Anyway, I thought this episode was excellent. Touching and funny at the appropriate parts...and the "FT monster" was just AWESOME! It looked so damn creepy just there...with those glowing red eyes. I can't wait for the Foxy filler. I can't wait to see his reactions to Franky and Brook.

Me too, it should be really funny. XD
Yeah, they cut out all the dialogue at the end. It was a bit disappointing, but I believe it was for time reasons, and also because they wanted to make sure the audience focused on the narrator was saying, not the people in the background. :s
Yeah, Brook looks odd, but I don't see the major issue in them showing it. The only problem it would create would be a small insignificant continuity error if Brook happens to have something "special" about his naked skeleton body :< And the odds of that are low. Though I would hope they would ask Oda's approval before pulling such a stunt anyway.
Nice episode, they looped the animations too much for my taste but else it was pretty good. Brook's officially a member in the anime, and he got his own eyecatch now. Neat.
And "we're going to fishman island"? Oh the irony. It burns.
Foxy was funny, I don't mind seeing him again XD and as someone else said before, can't wait to see how he'll react to Franky and Brook (well, I guess we're pretty sure the Straw-hats will keep their musician no matter what happens at least )
The thing on Brook's back is simply his shoulder blades I think.(quickly googled: http://www.aimingup.com/front-ribcage.jpg) it's true that it looks a bit weird (too wide), but hey. We probably won't even pay attention to it in motion. The screenshot looks ugly, but it was fine in the preview.
What would bother me the most is the fact without the collar the 'fro totally hides his neck and he looks like he doesn't have one XD or maybe that he seems to be a bit "short", I think his limbs should be longer than that. I mean, it's okay for a normal skeleton, but it's Brook we're talking about. He's freakingly tall. But apart from his size, I honestly don't think his body has something special, he's "only" a skeleton. XD
But lol… Faaaaaanservice. (now take off that towel, betch! XD why does he even feel the need to have one anyway? It's not like he has anything to hide XD)
You know, i really enjoyed this ep, the SH's finally are chilling out for a change, and with the new filler, they should be chilling out even more before all the crap arises, anyway, the animation to me was GREAT! Robin looked the best we seen her in a while….well, at least to me!

Brook's bounty poster and the shot of the crew pressing their mugs against his face were actually featured in that new anime special Romance Dawn. It's odd since the special premiered back in September.
I love the One Piece episodes were the strawhats are just chilling out and relaxing and comedy ensues! So i cant wait for 382!! I am actually looking forward to the filler!
Plus Foxy is back! Yey!
:D
I'm a little disappointed with Foxy being back. I would have loved to see a mini arc with the villains of the past. Anything but Foxy…
Overall the episode was pretty good although I myself disliked the Foxy return as well.
