Excuse me...I have to go punch myself rapidly.
I learned that if I had school tomorrow (winter break starts today), technically, I wouldn't, since there's a huge ass ice storm coming to where I am. Power's gonna go out like everywhere… I'm charging computer, ipod, phone and DS to full battery before the power goes out. >.>
I learned a bunch of things about other members of the forum by reading this topic. I also learned that we might be able to lower the rate on my house so I don't have to pay so much per month. That will make a Merry Christmas for me. Oh! I also learned my Touch Pro might get here before Christmas. Another nice addition to the month.

I've learned that novelty card games are the most amazing non-electronic things ever invented.
Examples: Are you a Werewolf?, We Didn't Playtest This at All, etc.
I found an old health certificate from 2004 and reading through it made me learn that in four years I have grown less than two centimeters and lost over six kilograms of weight. So I went from being 160,7 cm & 57,4 kg to 162,2 cm & 50,5 kg.
Now that's development. :blink:
@Hakuro:

ah! I played that werewolf game a few weeks back. it was awsome. i'll have to check out that other game you posted.
Careful, LaCaSiNa, with that development someday wind might blow you away.
I just recently checked out my weight and I had gained like 8 kilos. For last couple years I have been around 80 kg but for some reason now I'm suddenly 88 kg. I'm becoming a fatso :sad:. I still look pretty much the same as always, tho. But those 8 kilos sure can't be muscles…
I learned that last minute Christmas shoppers are crazy! @.@
I learned that I have to be quicker when I clean out my ferrets cage.. I cleaned it out, filled Yoda's water bottle up, put in his food, turned around to go get his litter tray and what did I see when I turned back? His his newspaper bedding all pushed to one side and a nice fresh pile of you-know-what in his food bowl.

Nah, it's okay if I just don't let my weight drop even more. Even though the numbers may sound like it, I'm not skinny.
On topic: today I learned that unlike last year, this year's Christmas would seem to be white. YAY. I woke up, went to look outside and taDAH! Everything is covered in a thick layer of snow! Yesssss. I love snow.
We had that a few days ago in central Sweden. suddenly being greeted with a thick layer of snow…. it's gone now. =(

Hey, as long as you keep eating those your delicious looking Christmas tarts and, uh, nazi gingerbreads then there ought to be no problems with wind.
Turku is still pretty much snowless tho. There was some snow at some point but now it's just wet and dark outside.
i learned today, my new co-worker from Afghanistan does not like snow anymore. lol
Today, I learned that it is really cold outside. This lesson was amplified by my tendency to not put shoes on when I'm only going outside to help bring groceries in.
I also learned that when cleaning a room, dusting the ceiling fan should be done first so that you don't have to clean something else in the room twice.
Today I learned that I suck at making decisions. x.x I don't know what to do! GAH! DX
I really need some help deciding, but it seems that now when I need advice the most…everyone turns away. :getlost: I guess I also learned that when the going gets tough...you're all alone. x.x
I shall keep trying though! So...anyone wanna help me decide? ^^;
Today I learned that downstairs can get really cold during this time of year.

I learned hot dogs come in packs of ten, but buns only come in packs of 8… It was a rough cookout.

that's funny, cause i heard people use devises like that to get rid of young kids loitering in certain areas. (malls, etc) neat to see it can be a 2 way street.

hell yeah! that'll teach those punks! Sound warfare!!
I didn't learn this, but rather I "re-learned" that newborn life is the most beautiful thing in the world, after I went to the hospital to see my cousins newborn baby. A little girl by the name of Alexis, came into the world at 4:36 last night, I held her in my arms this afternoon. Precious little thing wasn't even a day old.
Oh, I also learned that the Borders in my area, which has a paid parking system, will validate your parking so you don't have to pay (which I didn't know the last time I went). But I also learned that my cheapskate brother only put $10 on the gift card he gave me for Xmas, rather than the $25 that I thought was on it (but he's only 13 so I can't blame him too much). So it was a good news/bad news day in regard to Borders.

I have to get gas on the way home.
