It was a massively expanded/fillered version of whichever chap had the whole "Chrome's not used to your kindness"/I-pin sharing the whatchacallitfood w/ Chrome. Like 90% of the episode was spent on Chrome not eating w/ everyone else then getting used to being w/ others to the point I found myself thinking that the anime was making her seem like she had an eating disorder with how much emphasis they put on her not eating the food they gave. I never pegged her w/ an eating disorder in the manga but if I was anime only then damn that last episode woulda made me. The manga felt more like exactly what Bianchi said about her being unused to the kindness, the anime… way overblown imo. Not OOC, but overemphasized one specific thing. Like if an entire episode of One Piece centered on Brook asking to see panties, we'd think he's only a massively pervy skeleton as opposed to just a habitually pervy skeleton that sings and makes "skull jokes" and such. /rant
edit- and if the manga did spend that much time, let it be known that I'm covering my ass by adding that I definitely don't remember that much of an ordeal over Chrome...

What exactly is? If you meant how far KHR is reaching for filler material after ending the Arcobaleno Seals arc, I'd have to agree… The bloody opening says "choice" so gimme the Choice arc already. Next thing you know, they'll make a miniarc out of the motorcycles causing anime only ppl to think it's a racing anime now :getlost:
If you meant the Brook part... depends, sarcasm refering to his 3 min part in the Zoro/Brook ep or srs as in hoping for a gag-filled future filler?

Yeah. On the brightside, it wasn't a recap filler, though we did just have one so there wouldn't be much material for another. I'm still wondering why the Arcobaleno Trials couldn't have lasted longer and kept us from the drawn out stuff and the semi-relevant recap. The last episode of the Trials seemed like a lot went on and they could have easily extended finding Verde and make it take like 2 episodes just by having him somewhere else and in a base w/ experimental box weapon traps/security. Then Reborn could have had a rematch where they don't truly beat him but manage to give Tsuna time to X Burner him, from which he'd walk out unscathed and awesome. Man, next thing you know, Lambo will get a whole episode of playing with his box like it's a block/die and then finally opening it by mistake… Actually I'd probably find that amusing... If they need more filler I vote for making it humorous like that.

I don't neccessarily watch the KHR anime, the only animated version of the manga i've seen is a bit of the beginning the mukuro arc and the varia arc.

The only reason I stopped with the anime is because I thought the future arc (a long time ago) would only be about 26-30 episodes) but of course I was wrong…anyway, can't wait until they fight Yuni (and Genkishi), unless of course they started that already, did they?
Almost forgot to say, is anyone starting to dub this series?

The Chapter is out on onemanga.com pretty solid chapter. Gokudera was actually cool in this chapter.

I liked this chapter. Best part was how it was pointed out that the Primo Storm Guardian used a gun like a normal Hitman when he wasn't out doing a special mission for Giotto. It's nice to see someone besides Reborn and a bunch of nameless fodder actually using some sort of firearm. (And no, Lal doesn't count because she only uses an assault rifle as an infant, not in her adult form, and Colonello uses an Anti-Tank Rifle… not at all what I'm talking about).
That aside, Gokudera's crossbow is pretty neat. I hope it blows a hole in Zakuro so that douche can die and we can move on. This future arc is starting to drag and I'm pretty sure Amano finally realizes that... I want them to go back to the past and get shit done.
My prediction for the arc when they return to the past: Verde discovers a way to return them to their adult forms, so the Arcobaleno (and Aria) gather to search for Luce.
I called it wrong, so long ago. I guess this needs to be changed.

I agree, the manga is nicely moving at a faster pace now. I'm starting to enjoy it again. Still waiting for Lambo to fight Ghost.

Yeah, but Xanxus didn't use actual bullets. Xanxus loaded his Dying will flame into guns, just like his (adopted) Great Grandfather, Fabio, did. It's exactly like how Gokudera's arm cannon works, only using the Sky flame instead of the storm and the other flames (when he uses Sistema C.A.I.).

That was done for dramatic effect, although in the recent filler Arcobaleno arc (which is canon according to Amano), Reborn could use a move called "Chaos Shot", which allowed him to split the bullet after it was fired into multiple projectiles that could target multiple people.
It'd just be nice if at some point someone basically said, "So… why doesn't someone just shoot someone with Dying Will and be done with it?" and then someone could respond, "Because those with Dying Will are immune to regular bullets."
I called it wrong, so long ago. I guess this needs to be changed.

Pretty good chapter. Now that the rest of the Varia is here, hopefully this should wrap up pretty quickly. How awesome would a Xanxus-Tsuna combo attack to finish off Byakuran be?

I agree, it was pretty good indeed. I was wondering when the Varia were going to show up anyhow.
Now all we need is gender bender to get his ass over there and then we'll have the whole band back together and they can go on one final tour!

I'm hoping now that the Varia are here, we get Lussuria to heal the injured and then get some team battles against the remaining FWs. That way no one's left out and they all get a chance to shine. And with Bluebell and Zakuro's carnage releases being dinosaurs/ancient animals, I can easily see Kikyo fitting into this as well as something possibly even of Oars proportions. It'd be cool to see some group battles as this ends and it'd be the only way to let all the Vongola side have a chance to shine.

Actually, Xanxus and Tsuna teaming up against Byakuran would be a good way to settle their differences. Even if it's only in this particular future, Xanxus would finally be able to admit that the only reason he wasn't chosen as Timoteo's successor was because of his methods of deception and treachery, which is not at all what the Vongola is about. If he had genuinely worked toward his goal and been kind and straightforward with everyone instead of attempting a coup due to impatience, he probably would be Vongola X right now. It's typical Shonen, but I can forsee a conversation while they're fighting Byakuran where Xanxus asks Tsuna why he fights, and Tsuna gives his "For my friends" speech, and it makes Xanxus think.
I called it wrong, so long ago. I guess this needs to be changed.

No ways! Is what I want to say, but you could be right with the whole teaming up thing, but I still think that in the end it'll be mano y mano. Xanxus may help out a bit, but I don't see him fighting together with Tsuna the whole battle.

How long do you think the fight w/ Byakuran will be? Likme seriously, can he really be much more stronger then that other guy…Genkishi? I guess I will have to wait until I see for it myself (can't wait for the dino thing though, thats going to be awesome, though I'm still only on 211...)
