I forgot where they are going too… are they just going to take down Bakugan? I sure as hell hope they get their quickly too. Why can't all of the Vongola crew members + Lal Mirch just help take down the Strau Mosca anyway? I'm pretty sure this battle would be over if Gokudera and Yamamoto or Ryohei was with Tsuna.

Byakuran's not even there, so that's not their goal now. Their goal now is to just destroy the base, which they'll do by destroying that big thing Irie's working on and killing Irie himself.
And Tsuna's a distraction so the rest can go forward, so the point of this is that he has to defeat them all by himself.

Well, I'll just dabble into the Future Arc for a while, not forgetting the chance to see adult Reborn!
A horrific thought just passed my mind. If their future selves got replaced with their past selves in the future, I wonder what they're doing? (Not talking about Tsuna since he is dead 9 years and 10 months into the future)
EDIT: I mean the future Gokudera, Yamamoto, ETC.

! Tsuna forces the King Mosca to the ground so that he can fire his X BURNER. But, King Mosca breaks through all the ice Tsuna had formed for a secure footing. Instead of attacking, Tsuna is hit by Mosca again. Tsuna realises that he can't even fire off his X BURNER now and feels helpless for a while.
! Then, Reborn's voice comes to him through the headphones? Reborn says, "Why can't you just fire it? All you need are the hard and soft flames. Does it matter if you do it on the ground or in the air?"
! Tsuna fires the X BURNER in mid-air. X BURNER AIR!!!Honestly… this fight is taking way too long...

Wow, I can only imagine how long it's going to take a main Tsuna fight to finish if this middle-man fight is taking up like 4 chapters already.
I swear there's something wrong with a manga where nearly everyone except the main characters are even remotely interesting or entertaining. I wish that crazy Tsuna would show up, you know spice things up a little with his shouting and unpredictable actions. This emotionless zero one or whatever he's called is boring as hell.

All of those episodes were canon, along with the episodes before the Varia arc. It's just that they happened way earlier in the manga.

That's right. Because the fillers are out of place, characters had to be added in where they wouldn't. Hence the reason why Shouchi Irie has more reasons to hate the Vongola family on the anime.

It's very toned down indeed, but the anime has some strong points: a damn fine (and kinda old-schooled) soundtrack and pretty good voice acting.
It isn't unwatchable like the other Jump series adaptation by Artland..Eyeshield 21. -
The new chapter has my interest piqued again, kinda.
The new characters have some gay names though. Iris Hepburn? Phantom Knight? Lol?
And the Turban guy just screams fodder for Future Ryohei

Just started watching the new ep. There is a new opening just as I thought. I didn't see it from the beginning but it has pretty much all the main stuff from this arc, pretty cool and the song is much better than Dive to World.
EDIT: Episode was good, nicely animated. Though I'm sure the later episodes won't be as good… And the ending is unchanged.

About the chapter, I'm happy too to that this fight which annoyed me since its beginning has finally ended…
For Tsuna, the only good way I see to save him, is lambo who appears and save him (if I remember correcty, it's the duty of the thunder gardian to prevent any damages that go to the family..)

I wish the anime makers could successfully transfer over the designs from the manga to the anime. The future versions look odd, and so does Gamma.
