The Witcher is a game I should had bought a long time ago. That was my plan but somehow it just hasn't happened yet. Now a console port has been announced. Coming out next Fall.
They will revamp the combat and stuff. I'm not sure if I want to wait a year but I want to see actual game footage before deciding whether the console version is the way to go. Still, it could be one of the better RPGs of next year. Even though it will be sorta old by then… :ermm:

And here was me getting all excited for a new game to play on my 360.
Cuz lately anything thats come out that I've liked the look of has bombed critically D=.
anyone play this game? and just The Witcher, cause no console version came out. I just love it. i love how its like Majora's mask and everyone does their own thing in the world and depending on time of day you have ot look for them in different places. The combat is fine, once you get like level 30+ it starts to seem way too easy. Just downloaded a thing that will allow me to up difficulty to max level so hoping that makes it better.
one of the best games imo for voice acting i have ever played, especially for its length which is quite long. it is a bit dissapointing that there is like only 5 swords really worth getting ever. Sure there are like a bunch but once you upgrade to a decent one the rest just suck until next arc/chapter when you can get a new one. Potions kick ass and actually mean something versus lots of games that they really don't do much besides the typical instant health recover. Though my favorite one i can't use cause it slows my computer down too much, stupid special effects added in on it. wish coudl turn it off so i just got benefits and not have the glowy shit it comes with. i want to use blizzard potion damnit.
was thinking of pickign up these books, or books i mean that witcher is based on. i like this world. Oh and I can't wait until the sequal comes out next year. Looks awesome.
