Edit: Chapter 516 had 19 pages too. I check onemanga and it marked chapter 516 with 17 pages, counting the spreads as one page. Check chapter 516 on my PC and saw it had 19 pages. Sorry about that.

I can't get over how brutal Impel Down is. I mean that minotaur guy totally screws over the two inmates with a spiked club and seemingly either tosses them into a pit of spikes (death!?) or into a huge boiling pot. Some weird spider is there, people are getting whipped, there is a torture room, some bloody-axe wielding people, and a lion-faced guy!??

So Ace actually is Luffy's brother by blood. It isn't surprising that he would refuse to acknowledge Dragon as his father considering what we know about the man. Now that we know he took his mother's last name, I wonder how Luffy being the product of two D bloodlines will play out, if they actually do share the same mother that is. Also, it's nice to see that Buggy's crew became friends with Ace and they seem to want to save Ace along with Buggy. Still, it was pretty hilarious how they changed their tunes and said their farewells to Buggy, vowing to see him again in the next world when confronted with being left floating on a boat. And I guess Luffy will just flatten himself against Hancock for the bodycheck so it should be fun to see.

Ah I see. I thought there was only one GoJ, so that's why I assumed it was the one by EL. I can't stand the watermark, so I haven't really looked through the pages thoroughly yet.

Thats not going to be that hard for Luffy to deal with unless theres some Admirals or Vice Admirals there. He could beat any of those fish surrounding the place pretty easily (if Gear 3rd cant ohko one, it is weak shit and not any stronger than normal Luffy). I just hope hes not the one who actually rescues Ace. It would be incredibly lame to have Aces little brother rescue him.

What I want to have/picture happening is that Luffy is delayed by some enemy or something until everyone else (Whitebeard, Dragon, the Shichibukai, etc) all show up and chaos ensues. Then either Whitebeard himself or Dragon releases Ace and they flee (with Ace kicking some major ass and taking out several vice admirals to redeem his character) while all the fights that are started here are finished. I don't think Blackbeard is supposed to take out Whitebeard until later in the story if hes going to. Sort of like the scene from the last arc only Luffy is somehow delayed for quite a while and some of the fighting happens between Whitebeard and the Marines/Government before they all get to Impel Down
