if thats true then the price sucks in this economic downterm with the resession n all, but that could possibly mean we will start seeing larger figures, like aokiji, so we could presume some of the other larger characters mabey??? :P

Perhaps a re-release of Franky with proper skin tone and correct height to scale? I'd be pissed if it were to happen, but I'd still buy it.

franky pop has always appeared a bit too brown for my liking to be honest. i still really want him though, hes my fav!

Keychains: $5 each
Bandanas: $6 each

Since it ended up being about $10 each plus shipping when CCC bought his hollow figures from that auction service…I also sold some of the older mascot lottery plushes for $5 each. Those are sort of comparable to keychains, I guess :blink:.

Well, even without all of that, those are the prices I would intuitively charge .

I don't know. Seems like you're kind of abusing ReDDragon and his services. I mean it would be easy for him to just put the extra merchandise on eBay and let the public fight for it. But he's being generous and sharing with his fellow AP members. Those prices just seem a little cheap to me, especially since the figures are obviously in demand.

Aokiji will be 27cms/10.5inches tall, which is shorter than he seemed in the showcase photo. But that was probably a display model and not the mass market one, which they would understandably make shorter. Aokiji is still the tallest POP, but he is far from being in-scale. He'll retail for 5,985 yen! That's only like $10 more than Brook, I am surprised!

Mihawk will also retail for 5,985 yen, despite being shorter than Aokiji. Mihawk will be 23.5cms/9inches.

Where did you get those informations ?
Cause on the last picture posted by ReDDragon, it's written on the right side that Mihawk should have a height of about 270 mm, so 27 cm ! So Aokiji should be taller than that !!

I pre-ordered Mihawk, just in case I actually have money by May.
It's a really well sculpted figure, but it would be my first non-Strawhat, and I haven't finished getting them. Hey, you got to start somewhere!
If I get him, I'm sure I'd want to get all of the others. I at least planned on getting Shanks, so I'm leaning on getting others like Smoker, Tashigi, and so on.

Also got the Valentines Day Chopper (intended for my best friend). I've noticed with the last few Chopper plushies being released, they're cutting back on the production cost a bit. Instead of stuffing his antlers, they're not just flat cut-outs of thick material. A bit disappointing, but they're still cute.

Yeah, but those bandanas are made by Cospa-there's definitely a difference in quality (and price) between them and Banpresto .

You can even see it on HLJ…just look at the $42 Cospa towel vs the $16 Banpresto towel. They only differ in weight by 50 grams, so I doubt one is that much bigger than the other..even at the exact same weight, the Cospa one works out to $35.

Hahaha… Cospa bandana's aren't lottery items which can be won only in Japan. I'm just saying that if there's a demand for the item, the price tends to rise. Simple economics. Of course, this is totally up to ReDDragon and how he wants to sell his items. I just think he should be getting a little extra cash for all the effort he is putting in, dealing with PMs and eventually mailing all of the merchandise out.

I found that with the previous lottery there were items all over eBay and that's where I picked up my "Coup De Vent" Franky. With the TB lottery items? Not so much.

Yeah, but all Banpresto items are that way, technically (prize items)-you don't see that affecting their prices much. By your logic, shouldn't that make all Banpresto items higher priced than Cospa items?

Putting economics aside..just look at their suggested retail prices-I think that says it all. Banpresto isn't known for quality.

Since the set is still relatively new, I don't think you can compare the two..of course the first set is easy to find now. When it just came out? Not so much.

Well, the cheaper price reflects on a slighter lower quality. They're generally quite nice. A bit smaller than the Chopper P.O.P (I don't have Chopperman yet so I'm not sure against his size). They're also ones that you have to piece together (Only 3 parts, usually his head on his body and then body on the base). P.O.Ps are definitely better, but these are a bigger step up from Styling figurines and such. :3 I'd say get them if you're a big Chopper fan coughlike myselfcough but if not, you're better off saving for another P.O.P instead.

im only guessing but i think they may have counted mihawks sword when its attatched to his back, id be slightly dissapointed if it meant from head to foot cos aokiji would look weird against mihawk then, and evryone else for that matter!

Only separate, sorry. I got mine off of playasia rather than HLJ (since they give locals in HK free shipping).

They're a little bit cheaper on HLJ ($11.43US each) compared to Playasia ($12.90US each) sO I guess it comes down to shipping if you do want them. I don't know if anywhere online would sell a set of 3 at a discount.
