IDK. I am still under the impression – due to the narrator comment -- that we will not be following any of the other SHP's. Rather, I felt that it was just letting us know where they were as of a given amount of time prior to our current events so that we would feel relieved at knowing they were ok...somewhere. I guess I am just imagining that instead of writing a mini-arc for them all, we get a peek of where they were so that when they are introduced back into the main story no flashbacks are required. Just an explanation and maybe a single flashback image (like Sanji's nightmare). This would bypass any "training" while still allowing them all to learn or upgrade. Ugh. I am trying sooo hard not to use a million sentences to get my point across.
I really hope you're wrong, b/c I'm geared and ready for the rest of the SH crew adventures. Why spend the time to turn back the clock if you aren't going to give us a little taste of what the others are doing? even if it's only two pages per SH, at least cover all of them. Oda can accomplish this and by-pass the training just the same.
I personally prefer at least one chapter per SH, but I am willing to suffice with a few pages. By the time that's over, we can have a time skip to EL or whatever. Four days is a freakin' long time in OP world. :)
