Yeah the one thing Margaret has going for her is she at least looks fairly different than the other strawhats with her extremely light hair, her different drawn styled eyes and different hair style. It wasn't till this chapter that I felt Hancocks looks could actually mesh ok with the strawhats visually. Thats when she showed off her seduced face at the end. Really at this point because of the fact it can go either way, I would conclude that Hancock wouldn't become a strawhat if she ended up having jet black hair like Robin. But I think she might have Dark Blue or Purple hair especially if her design is based off that one Color drawing Oda showed off a while back with lady in the dress with silver/purple hair and a large boa wrapped around her body.

Did anyone thought about the possibility that margaret and nyon(mother, grandmother) are related? For me it looks like she is living with nyon or at least very often there(the tea scene). This would make it possible that margaret is very strong but nyon want her to hide her full strength or nyon asked hancock to let her on the island.

Yeah and you just know that he is going to end up being the last crew member to show up and only after all the Amazons are gone. Seriously I think the only thing actually frustrating about this chapter for me is I keep thinking about what the rest of the crew would think and than remembering that they probably won't know for a long time now thanks to this detour of a chapter lol.

So here is a thought. What do you guys think each strawhats reaction would be to both Luffys story and the reaction they would have to either of two main front runners for the next member?

WOW My mistake I meant equator not prime meridian. Anyway equator goes east to west, prime meridian goes north to south(Red Line).

I still don't see how they are heading west when the entrance of reverse mountain points east.

I wouldn't go so far as to call them temporary SH's, but yeah I wouldn't mind seeing a bit more of those Supernova Captains that got raped buy Kizaru, since they might be in Impel Down. Kidd and Law are obviously unknowns at the moment, but i'd approve a large rapist scarecrow and dinosaur messing the place up a bit.

I see what you're saying. I looked at http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/101/04/, which has the map of reverse mountain and the Grand Line, and if you are looking at it assuming Nami turned the map around for the others to see it right side up, then they are going East. But, if you look at it from the other perspective, which is that you are looking at it upside down because Nami still has it facing her, they they would be heading West. Sure, the writing on the map is right side up, but that might only be because it's there for us to read and understand. It might be that in their reality, there are no text bubbles on the map like that to read. And without a compass on the map to tell us the cardinal directions and their lack of saying stuff like "let's head east/west/etc. we can only make our own guesses which direction they are going…

Boa already made up her mind not to honor her Shichibukai calling and even told Luffy that the Kuja pirates would only sail him as far as the Sabondy islands. But Low and behold all of a sudden this “fatal disease" comes along. How ironic when Luffy needed a speedy way to reach Ace. All of a sudden after some chest pains Hancock jumps on Luffy's nuts and has an 180 degree mind change and agrees to take Luffy to a place she refuses and hates to go. This means she honored her calling as a Shichibukai by using the Marine battleship, just so Luffy could get there quicker cause She "loves him?". Pfft… How lame is that storytelling [writing]?

As for the rest of the chapter, most of it was recycled and overused dialogue. We got some new info on the ships and some geography but that was it. IMO, this chapter was terrible in many ways, the cover was good though.

His bounty will go up, no doubt about that. But it'd most probably be around 500 billion. Dragon plots to overthrow the WG and has a small army of revolutionists. So he is the WG's #1 threat. So luffy's bounty cannot surpass him yet.

I can already see a scene where Luffy is dressed up as an amazon surrounded by other kuja pirates on a marine ship being taken to Impel Down. When they get their with other marines around and some other shichibukai arriving Smoker arrives pissed off mumbling about how he doesn't trust the shichibukai and then notices an amazon with a SH lol. Luffy scared as fuck hides behind Aphelandra hahaha.

there could be two situations in which the rest of the crew could regroup at ace's excecution.

they were all sent to not that far off places as luffy, so regrouped at the archipelagos. when they realised that luffy was not there, their best bet was to get silvers, and others and try to go to ace's excecution as that could be a place luffy may be (however they will do it smartly, and covertly…sorta like when they were hiding in cp9)
they all make it on their own to impel down/aces excecution place. didn zoro say that he is attracted to battles? even if he is bad at tellin directions he could either get there due to his sense of a battle, or by pure luck.

im not sayin this will definately happen, but it could.

It has everything you want from a story.

Everything.

That`s not to say it works well as a self-contained story. No, I would strongly disagree there. But as the part of a continuing series, this is one of his greatest pieces.

The flow, the pace, the LENGTH, the careful and deliberate revelations (full-well knowing the effects they will have on the fan community) the vision and scope of what lies ahead being revealed and some great comedy. I have enjoyed reading OP for a long time. But I dont think Ive ever enjoyed a single chapter on so many different levels like this before.
