This thread is to talk about what objects/weapons we would like to own with devil fruit augmentation.
To start things off:
It was your post in the other thread that made me think of this, I posted it there but fuck it I'll post it again:
A couple of shoes with the sober fruit giving them the ability to give me sound advice and talk me out of doing dumb shit when im drunk. It would be practical since when im that drunk i would usualy be looking at my feet.
Or a shirt with an eagle df who would let it grow some wings out the back that would be capable of supporting a grown man and companion, that would really come in handy.
A couple of leather gloves with a bear fruit, there is a certain useful element of suprise in pulling a bunch of mauling paws out of your gloves.

This reminds me of a practical joke my cousin did at a family reunion. She made a sponge cake out of a real sponge. It was hilarious watching everyone try to cut it.

my craziest idea was cutting a ship in two and feeding the top of it a hermit crab fruit. Since the hull isn't infected it can still float, but it can use its claws and legs to row. And once on land it be a full giant crab and put the hull on top of it like a shell to travel.

You asked that in another topic and I'll say it again;
Your combining the powers of TWO Devil Fruits like when you consume two yourself… So they'd explode and you'd waste them both.
Still, nice hunting them down again, at least if you ate them you wouldn't live to know what a waste it was.

I think this only happens when it's two DF of the same type ( 2 Paramecia , 2 Logias , 2 Zoans )
No it's any DF. But atually feeding a DF another DF and hten eating the first DF wouldn't make you explode, but you won't gain two powers. Think of that villain in Drum ISland (forgot his name )with that hcew-chew fruit. If he ate luffy, he wouldn't gain rubber abilities.

Exactly. When you eat fruit X who ate fruit Y you won't get fruit Y's abilities, becausey ou didn't eat it. You only ate fruit X, therefore only his abilities will be gained by you.

This would make your sword useless. The Sube Sube no Mi is what Alvida has. Your sword wouldn't be able to even make contact with the enemy.
