I've seen mention of it knocking around, but I haven't seen a topic on the actual movie yet. I saw it this afternoon, something I'd had to put off, however, I've now witnessed it. And it was superb.

I can quite honestly say, I haven't seen a movie that has enthralled me so much for several years, and being a fan of the El Mariachi movies, I think Robert Rodriguez is set to absolutely explode into the cinematic history pages, now.

How to begin? - Awesome. It was great to see Mickey Rourke and Bruce Willis in such top form again, along with the more recent famous name of Clive Owen performing excellently in such spellbinding lead roles. And to be fair, I should mention the cast of characters throughout was brilliant, without focusing too much on the headlining roles.

I'll definitely be catching this one at the movie theatre again, if not for the amusing reaction of certain cinemagoers to the level of torrid, hard hitting scenes contained within this absolute masterpiece of modern cinema. The opening scene of the movie literally dropped my jaw, and that doesn't happen very often for me.

Beautiful, just beautiful. - I'd go into detail, but I'd rather give everyone else a chance to make their opinions known here.

I dont think the movie was changed in any way just to bring it out in Europe.

Anyway, well I first saw it on friday, which was the second day of relise over here in the UK. I had recently perchaced the first Volume of the Graphic novel, just to get filled in before the film. One I started reading, I couldnt stop, ohhh what a great storyline and ohhh what a great set of charecters Mr Miller has created. When I saw the film I was only fermiler with "Marv" but that didnt stop the film from becoming one of my fave film to date. Absolutly stuning with its beautifull effects, not to mention the black and white. I thought the scene with "The Salesman" at the begining was an awsome way to start such and epic film off, When "Marv's" story finished i thought to myself, "This can not get any better, i would of payed Â£5 just to see that on its own". But oh how i was wrong, Dwight sequence was just a great middle to this Awsome (yes i said it again) film. I love the way that all the charecters merge together when the story contines, also the scene in Kade's bar, was great because lots of charecters where in there at the same time. I wont get started on Hertigans story becuase i just wont stop. Robert Rodriguez has created yet again an unforgetable movie exsperience. Well done to him, but an evan bigger well done to Frank Miller for creating these Charecters and Storyline, a decade ago.

yeah, i also think its cool how the storyboards for the movie was the actual graphic novel, and how this stays more comical than like, spiderman which tries to be more "realistic"
