i'm sure there would be nanomachines
and Bond would have a mustache
And It Would Be Long As Hell
Can love bloom on the battlefield James?
Casion Royale was amazing. I really dont think we need a new James Bond director right now…

Yeah I…. what? That shit was bad. And not in the "bad is good" way the cool kids say. It was awful.
Pierce Brosnan let himself down after such a promising start in Goldeneye, which was awesome.
To each their own, I guess.
Not as Bad as the World is Not Enough don't know why I bought the game.

HEY
The World Is Not Enough Is & Always Will Be My Favorite Bond Flick
Naked Snake you need a good dose of Connery and Moore. Oh, a slap too.

Even Dalton's run was better than TWINE. You have no excuses here young man.
@Naked Snake
Please, do yourself this much of a favor: go watch Goldfinger, if you have not already. It has many high points for a pre-1985 Bond film, including:
1. An Aston-Martin with GPS standard feature, machine guns, and an ejector seat.
2. Lethal Body Painting.
3. One of the best hero-villain dialogues ever.
4. Pussy Galore. Yes, that's her name. Deal with it.
5. Oddjob, easily the best pre-Jaws henchman.

Mel Brooks would like a word with you.

I think after a pretty ignorant statement like that, there are a few people that would like a word with him.

Was it the same director.
I assumed with the new style and new Bond…there was a brand new director.

Meh…that's most kid's attitude really. And by kids I mean, anyone younger than 23.

This one sentence says so much.

Watch Yojimbo:getlost:
…but if Hideo does it, he has to use Sean Connery as Bond.
yojimbo and sanjuro are THE shit!
I wonder what Mifune as Bond would have been like?
This is as good idea as movie directors starting to pretent that they can be game developers.
Don't worry, young Naked Snake. 30 or 40 years into future and people are lecturing youngsters who hasn't yet watched the real classics like Die Another Day.

Oh boy, sheer ignorance going on right here.
Star Wars is apparently just some old waste of celluloid.
@Naked:
Being A 17 Year Old, Most Movies Made Before 1985 Bore Me
Bullshit, being 17 has nothing to do with it. There are tons of 17 year-olds out there who love movies made before 1985. The problem just lies with you, don't use your age as an excuse.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go watch Lawrence of Arabia.
@Ao:
Casion Royale was amazing. I really dont think we need a new James Bond director right now…
Agreed, but like it or not weve just got a new one, Martin Campbell who did royale was replaced by Marc Foster, But hey Quantums trailer looks awfuly good so im not worried. Besides Craig could singelhandedly save the flick
Star Wars is apparently just some old waste of celluloid.
I won't argue that point if you're referring to the Clone Wars movie.
Also: Indiana Jones.
I'm going to go back even further: The Grapes of Wrath.
Star Wars is apparently just some old waste of celluloid.
Same for Jaws. Big shark? Big deal.
Anyway, to answer the original question:
The first quarter or so of the film follows Daniel Craig while the rest features his sidekick, Clay Aikens.
Star Wars is apparently just some old waste of celluloid.
Sounds like Return Of The Jedi.
And The Godfather and The Godfather Part II
Scarface, A clockwork orange, Alien, Terminator 1. Also what Sandai said, a lot.
On topic: the movie should be the death of James Bond at an old age like Metal Gear 4, starring Connery.
Kojima is a staple Japanese director. He dabbles too much within the time he's given. He knows how to tell a story, he doesn't know how to tell a compact story. Yes, parts of MGS4 felt cinematic, but it felt more like the extended edition than the public release. There are entire sections that he could (and arguably should) have cut merely for how they derail the current pace. One scene that comes to mind, 10 minutes of soldiers taking the safety off their weapons in Europe. He has a visionary mind but he doesn't know how to orgnize his ideas into a concise story. Actually I would argue that he did such a thing much better back when his choices were limited. MGS is still easily the most concise and consistently well-paced stories of the bunch.
In short, he's what Chen Kaige would do if faced with directing a Michael Bay produced film.
I could name 20 amazing movies that came out before 85 off the top of my head.
I'm 16 and I love watching movies made before 1985. Unbelivable that people could be so ignorant. Not wanting to watch a movie depending on when it was made? Come on!
As for the topic, considering I love the MGS series and it's story, I'd love Kojima to direct a Bond film. I don't see it ever happening though.
Off Topic: Someone make a thread about awesome pre-1985 movies so I can add Blazing Saddles, and Twelve Angry Men to the list.
On Topic: I'd actually like to see Kojima take a crack at directing his own Metal Gear movie, assuming the last undertaking I heard about years ago isn't dead in the water.
Blazing saddles was quoted using a movie clip,

regardless of the idiocy; yes there were a lot of good movies before 1985.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! You. Win.
In the end we can all agree 1985 was a pretty darn fine year.

Ha! Seen that video.

And Blazing Saddles is a good movie. Crude humor or not.

Apart from the fact that that's the oldest lie in the book and you just double posted, your writing style seems strangely similar and you joined recently too. You wouldn't happen to be a former banned member I know, would you? It all seems very noobish.

You ask us to forgive and forget but then you come out and double post a statement like that! This better be a joke because I swear, someone needs to sort out an intervention for you.
Log off the forums, power down the PC, go down to your local Blockbuster and sort yourself out young man.
Isn't there some kind of obscure law in about 13 different countries making it illegal to not have watched the original Star Wars trilogy before turning 12?
Either that or a constitutional amendment, but that would only cover the US.
Being A 25 Year Old, The Opinions Of Anyone Born After 1985 Bore Me.
sweet! I just made the cut by a year!
naked snake, you should really watch some of those movies you mentioned. they are pretty good
