iam agreeing! theses over file sized with fields completely blended whitout any deinterlacement should NEVER be uploaded

I doubt they will stop choking up the p2p nets with their failed experiments but even if we get only 50 guys to move on to another torrent and seed a decent raw it was worth it.

Using "Gigant." Was it supposed to be "Giant"?
Misspelling "whether" (it's spelled as "wether")

No, it's definitely "Gigant". You can clearly hear that that's what he's saying. And I didn't notice the "whether"-part.
Surprised that nobody pointed out "I'm will never…" yet, though... As soon as I noticed that misspelling, I instantly fixed it for the softsub, but I had already sent Elric the script by then, and the encoding was already finished by the time I had given him the message.

Uguu~* I really need to do a proper quality-check on the scripts before uploading them.

(*Anyone who recognises this quote will not get a reward.)

Wikipedia shows me there are other cases where an anime uses the word "gigant" (see Saint Seiya). Having never seen the word written before, I simply thought it a typo. I stand corrected.

For everyone who's interested in fixing the width of the HD RAW download this rar and follow the instructions. It sets back the display aspect ratio from 1408x720 to 1280x720. Should take you only about 120 seconds.

It probably works for ZeroRaws 373 as well but I haven't got the file anymore to confirm it.
Just try it out yourself, nothing gets lost or overwritten. The batch makes copies of the original RAW's video- and audio streams and creates a new mp4 using a different setting on the video stream.

I read into this only recently myself but I'm pretty sure that's a politically correct method.

Translation is finished, (though I'm gonna go over it again once it's been timed) I haven't got the Raw yet, but I've gotten those later than this in the past, plus I've found an easier way to time the subs, so… Yeah, you can expect 375 today.

Oh, Elric said that he'd already found a good Raw we can use, (over in the episode-thread in the RAW-section) but the problem is that AegiSub can't handle HD-Raws properly, so I can't actually do anything before he sends me a scaled down version.

Hmm i think mp4box can help you create softsubs on a mp4 file.

mp4box doesnt support .ass as input though, so you need to convert .ass to .srt then convert .srt to .ttxt with mp4box and theeen mux the .ttxt to .mp4 with mp4box.

Kind of a long workaround but hey, you get to keep the hd quality and dont have to scale it down or reencode it.
