This episode also features some changes to the typesetting. The "secondary"-style is now brighter, so it doesn't stand out all that much compared to the main style, yet they should still be different enough to tell them apart. Also, I included the lyrics during the opening, after… someone... asked for them.

monster RAW 700MB!
should i wait for the encoded version?I can't tell you if you should, but I will. 750+ mb is just a bit too much. Tomorrow is early enough, I guess.
Edit: Almost forgot to thank you ^^

Watch episode now I will.

Well, it's got this nasty interlacing-thing going on. (Frames blending into each other all the time.) It looks fine in motion, but if you freeze it, you'll propably notice the problem quite easily.

Thanks again, guys. Always a fan of your work and usage of proper English! No "Shichibukai", "Oi', or "Gomu Gomu no" BS.
-
Just finished watching it and i gotta say, Awesome!!
-
Yay, thanks! =D
And Im the "someone" who asked for lyrics. Thanks for those too <3
edit: I'll seed it for at least 24 from now, since I noticed you have too few seeders. I got a pretty fast net and should work good. ^^

Yep I agree…But it was better than the last time 650 MB Raw...
There is another Raws but I'm still downloading them...
-
Great episode. Thanks for the quick release. Sort of a blessing in disguise, the "kishishishi" meter will be gone soon. I found it enjoyable, but the laugh has been grating on my ears for a while now.
-

HD 1280x720 vs SD 704x400 obviously. Sound is the same. Pans and motions are equally fucked up. No noise around hard edges and subs with the Raw+Softsubs version. The SD hardsub thingy might be a tad more dirty than previous ones.

There is another Raws but I'm still downloading them...The one guy who replied to my question about this on an expert forum suspected it might be a crappy deinterlacing setting that blends frames instead of producing clean stills.
The framerate is correct this time (last I remember was 59,94 instead of 23,976) but now it's using inferior divx/128Kbps.mp3 (wtf?) instead of x264/aac.
-
Woah!
Just watching it now! That Gigant bazooka ripping into Odz's face was brutal!!! hahaha

Please keep it up.
Sure, I'll keep doing it until the end of Thriller Bark, at the very least, and I'll propably continue past that too. (If they do fillers after TB, though, I might put it on hold until the main story resumes, as I wouldn't have the manga to go by with those.)
-
Very good job, thank you.
Totally loved the kishishishi counter
Moria's voice in the end was just perfect -
epic episode
thanks you 2
you never dissapoint the King -
Thanks for the episode!
-
Zero-Raws just released theirs. :D Anyway. Thanks~
Nevermind. The timing for Zero-Raws is different. Is there anyway to edit the timing of the subs from after the song to the end? I want to add about 2-3 seconds to all the subs to time it correctly but adding 3 seconds to all the values would be tedious. Is there any simpler method?
-
Great subbing once again..thanks for taking the time to do it for us all.

Well…I use a small trick...
If you are using DirectVobSub then this trick will work:
1-Click on the green Arrow icon
2-Go to Timing
3-In the Delay Field insert (+10000 Or -10000)
be careful not to type the minus(-) sign or it won't work, Just click on the small (down) arrow in the delay field and it will show (-1) then add the remaining zeros!
4-This is a temporary fix. This worked with me for almost 90%...I really hope it works with you!
Just remember 10000 is the magic number!BTW, I'm still downloading the Zero Raw...So I haven't checked it yet!
I really hope the Zero Raw have HQ video!Edit: I just checked it...use -10000 and the timing will be perfect! but after the opening...
Zero-Raws are really good and solves the annyoing interlacing problem! -
I really hope the Zero Raw have HQ video!
They usually do, so I don't think that should be a problem. Actually, I might go and update the timing in the script, and change the links to the ZeroRaws-release instead… Once I finish downloading it myself, that is.
-
thank you so much!
it's dattebayo speed on you guys.
-
Zero-Raws' release this week isn't as good as the previous excellent quality raws though.

What seems to be the problem?
-
What seems to be the problem?
It looked fine to me, at least.
Anyway, the updated script (exact same lines, it's just timed to ZeroRAWS's release now) has been uploaded. So in case anyone reads the topic and hasn't gotten the episode yet… Well, better version available.
EDIT: Huh? That's weird... The aspect ratio seems to be f***ed up... Even though it says that the resolution is 1280x720, one of those is clearly wrong, because the video is definitely wider than it should be...
-
Yea. I realised that too. I messed around with the aspect settings and got it back to normal.
Elric. Its clearer isn't as sharp as 372

Thanks for the subs dude's.
I just finished watching the episode and the subs and animation was fantastic.
I though Toei did a great job with Moria using 'Shadow Asgard' and 'Gigant Bazooka' was mind blowing.
The sad thing is,I have to wait another week for the new episode :<Thanks again dude's,It's really appreciated :D
-
Dam the subs hate me :<
Soft sub comes up with the message "Error -2041: an invalid sample description was found in the movie([VSenter full name here"
And the raw doesnt seems to wanna run with the script >.< (both same file name (except the .ass and .mp4), in the same folder and still the subs dont work)
Tried re-downloading them both twice but still no luck. Tried on Quicktime and realplayer…Guess I'll just wait for Instantz...

Nice work, too bad you still use Gum-gum, even though we all know it's a wrong translation.

Well, I refuse to use "Gomu Gomu no", and "Rubber Rubber" just sounds retarded, so I'm just following the official translation on this one.

What looks retarded is knowing something is wrong and using it. Using the official translation doesn't make it right :)
Besides, if you don't want to use a direct translation like "Gomu Gomu no", you can use "Rubber attack", or "Rubber power", which would be a true translation of the meaning, with a little interpretation.

Ehm, sorry, but I think I prefer just using "Gum-gum". It still carries the same meaning, (Gum = rubber, seems pretty obvious to me) and it still follows the pattern with devil fruit-names of repeating the word twice. And you know, those suggestions aren't really any more accurate either…
-
Well, my school of thought towards this matter would be to leave just the attack names as is, and just fix English words so we'd have ''Gomu Gomu no Rocket'' and not ''Gomu Gomu no Rokketto'' or what have you. Generally, as long as 'nakama' isn't used, I'm fine.
And before I forget, thank you for your efforts.
-
You can either do a litteral translation "Rubber Rubber", or an interpretation "Rubber something", or even keep it in japanese, all those carry the original meaning.
What you're doing is a wrong litteral translation, "Gomu Gomu -> Gum Gum", and your reasons is "they say it twice, and gum is kinda like rubber".

I agree.
The only problem with your subs is that you use the phrase 'Gum Gum'
'Gomu Gomu no' sounds much better and is true to Oda and Toei.
'Gum Gum' sounds babyish/childish and reminds me of 4kids :‹
