I got the bigger pic in a brazillian sports website, their article says only the team's libero will wear the Luffy shirt, and Modena used other sponsored jerseys in the last couple years (Spider-Man and Iron Man).
Btw, here is their official shop..it should be on sale soon:

I babelfished the page and as far as I can tell, under their Help section, they ship to anywhere in Europe, anywhere outside Europe, you have to contact them via Email. Of course I wonder if they have someone who can understand English. I'll definitely try when they get them in though.

The team takes one popular thing in italy and advertises it for cash, as u can see, they did iron man and spiderman, but recently one piece has become more popular, so the company behind oda probably cut a exclusive deal with this italian volleyball team to advertise there characters while they play.

Can you put your own name and number? Or is it only one specific name and number? And hopefully shipping won't be too expensive, since 40 EUR = roughly $60 today. While that's a typical price for most sports jersey reproductions here in America, I've never paid attention to volleyball jersey prices, so I'd like to know the budget.
I'd definitely pay more if I could get it customized though.

A quick look trough wiki which led me to the site of the italian volleyball assocation reveals that the season just started this past weekend. So they should be on sale (read: and subsequently sold out) pretty soon in any case the americans/australians/etc… among you are going to have to call on your european friends to get one since they only ship to Europe.

As from the website, customizable t-shirts are 45 euros (40 the not customized) , which means name and number.
That'd be roughly 65 dollars.
20 euros europe-wide shipping. (90 dollars, shipping included, in Europe). That's reasonable, personally speaking.
I personally guess…..... just wild guess, of course, but, you might make it for 100 - 110 dollars to US.

Yes onepiece is very popular on italy, manga and anime ( the anime is bad dubbed, and story is still on ennies lobby… thanks to mediaset (the shitty tv company of berlusconi)

One Piece is indeed quite popular here in Italy, if you consider today number 50 starts sales in shops, we're really close to Japan :happy:
As Gnappo25 said, even the anime has almost reached Enies Lobby (though they usually cut bloodiest scenes and most of shigans :sad:).
Anyway I checked the volley team website and in the end of the info about deliveries they say (translate>>>) "N.B. If you wish to deliver in a foreign country, please contact the customer service".
