Did any one see the end of toonami sequence at the end of samurai jack?

I think that was a nice touch, with the Bang. Still sad to see Toonami gone though. It did suck when they placed Tom in the jungle, but it was still Toonami

1)someday he will come back not looking like thomas the train
2)kids would get the wrong impression if they saw tom just randomly die.
also, I think this was a really nostalgic tv moment, it brought back so many memories when I watched it.

supposedly next week toonami is being replaced by a movie, then the week after that another movie and 2 naruto episodes.
After that idk

I have Comcast and mine played right through into Bleach with no commercials. Tho sometimes Comcast does cut in. I wish we had a little video montage of all the series which aired on Toonami, that would have been really powerful.
Also, I doubt Toonami will come back, if they want a similar block they'll probably just rename it.

I found it ironic that the samurai jack episode described toonami's relationship with the viewers, always trying on different shoes, but never could find the right one, and when he finally gets the right shoe, he leaves into the sunset, never..to be heard from again.
Toonami, Ill miss you, The naysayers, let them say nay. I will always remember you and will never forget. If they made a dvd with that 3 minute bumper I would rush to the store and buy it. I think toonami had a place in all of our hearts, lets never forget it.

Anyway, the "BANG" was truly a wonderful touch...someone at Turner knew what the fudge was going on. That was really stirring, and somewhat reassuring to know that we fans have friends SOMEWHERE in the big messy briefcase of network entertainment.

It started for me as flipping through channels, during the moltar era I was just begining to watch it. I saw DBZ which blew me away and I was in a whole nother world.
When TOM came I was excited (The helmet did it) and watched through the most mind blowing thing ever. I saw all sorts of anime and learned to like this stuff. Tenchi Muyo turned me on with it's fantastic art and funny story of a guy who get's pursued by stalkers, Gundam= confused, Outlaw Star confused me but I liked it anways, DBZ was my fav on the whole block it just blew me away and I always imitated Goku.
I lived a pretty sad childhood outside of my home and didn't understand the world to much I got into fights, I was mitreated by people who I thought were my friends I even planned suicide. I stood out in the middle of that empty street waiting for a car to come and my parents never knew, when my time almost came the Toonami promo "Don't fear defeat" has popped into my head and I stepped out when a car came. I was inspired never to give up and I decided to take better care of my life and live out my dreams.
Everything else, even the bad years of Toonami was gold for me.

CN network finally dies this day. Farewell Toonami!! I will really miss you. I feel severe Flashbacks with DBZ One Piece, Rurouni Kenshin, Gundam G and many other shows. I feel alot of things but at the most sad especially when Tom was shutting everything down. I got to 2 things to say. Screw you CN for killing my childhood. And screw Naruto for stealing ratings and being its accomplice. Its not like I havent watched Toonami since they took out One Piece but Im going to miss them. Its official All Cartoon channels are corrupt basturds. Its time for me to move on. Im going to watch CW11 and Comedy Central more often for now on. But me stop watching Anime or reading manga is impossible with our wide varietey. And the best part is. Its not decided on ratings and it can't be cancelled. (except for one.) Hopefully Funimation won't get severly hurt because of this. I hope for the best that people won't go Sasuke emo because of this. Toonami may be long and gone but as Dr. Hiruluk said "Things die when they are forgotten." TOM, Sarah and the Absolution rest in peace in heaven treated by Gods Private angels while CN executives burn in their own personal hell. Im going to watch Tenchi Muyo someday to learn something Tom and Toonami was teachin me long ago. I never understood that show when I was little.

I always thought that Shuisha and Toei should team up and start a new channel. Either that or Sony should launch Animax.

Fu*% cartoon network. they haven't been right since 06. i say keep the dvd's coming casue anime on t.v is not happening right now. aleast except for sci fi. i wish i had Funi channel but comcast doesn't have it

Yeeeaah I don't think people are going to pay for a new anime channel, most people don't even have HBO. Some don't even want it. OP on the FUNimation Channel is a good possibility though.

I think I read few months ago that they are changing from Cartoon Network to THE NETWORK cause "cartoons are for kids" . The live action movies are to made them more of a family channel.
