sneak peaks of the incoming fights, Gear Second, showing every important crew and they still managed to animate color spreads

no way was crazy rainbow better than Brand New World

Just out of curiosity,what can get you HYPED for the show in Crazy Carzy G-I mean "Rainbow" star?

Uppity? What the hell does that even mean? As far as I'm concerned, Brand New World IS the worst opening. This is supported by just how short it lasted. (That last statement was simply for the fact of being an asshole.)

Also, why the hell does everyone get a boner over spoilers in the opening? Spoilers should NOT be in the opening or ending. It ruins it for people who don't read the manga, and kinda for the people who do who gets the feeling of finally seeing it animated taken away when they finally get to that part of the anime.

Openings should contain general fun-having with SLIGHT fast peaks at future characters (We Are, Believe) if anything. I certainly hope this opening has no significant spoilers, and that they keep it that way.

One,you contradict yourself and two-almost every single opening in any franchise has spoilers,be it 24,Big Brother or Dragonball.

BTW whoever was saying new OP wasnt at the end of Thriller Bark, according to the episode titles, its the episode when the Strawhats defeat Oz. So technically its not the very end which makes it kind of weird on why they didn't wait until the next arc started..

Why not? Showcasing some of the match-ups made the opening awesome (imo). If it's because of the spoilers of Gear 2nd…Robin in Hikari E.

My ranking (1=favorite, 8=not so favorite):
1. Brand New World (cool animation, showed some pretty cool colorspreads in action, Buggy and crew, Blackbeard and crew, Shanks and crew, the Five Elders, etc., up-beat song that gets you pumped up for the show (imo), showcased some of the fights)
2. Kokoro no Chizu (great animation, pretty song, showed some awesomely animated scenes from Davy Back Fight and Water 7)
3. Jungle P (top notch animation, showcases the Thousand Sunny in the opening, "We Are!" reference w/ Luffy grabbing the ship, Franky and Brooke's debut in an opening, cute/awesome scenes of the SH shopping/fighing)
4. Believe (nice animation, neat pop song, cool scenes of the SH fighting w/ scenes from the series in the bg)
5. We Are! (2 cool versions, gives off that "get ready for adventure feeling", showed a peek of how the SH fight, showed some of the villians to come)
6. Hikari E (good song, shows the SH fighting against the "4th wall", follows the SH on the Grand Line)
7. Bon Voyage (decent song, first utilized CG graphics for Merry in the opening, showed each of the SH pasts in fast clips, and had a cool spread at the end)
8. Crazy Rainbow Star (okay song, showed almost nothing but colorspreads, had a cool shot of Luffy destroying a ship, incorporated the singer (I think) into the opening)

Most of the opening changes were mid-arc.

Anyways, about Robin in the opening, it would've been cool if they would've led the viewers on by having Vivi in the opening in Robin's place up until 131 :p

And this is the very reason why Toei most likely will keep it because there's lesser seconds to fill with new material. The first three openings have shown how easy you can incorporate Rogers words into the opening. If Toei would still be interested in doing that, they could easily accomplish the task. But obviously that's not what they want. Sadly :(

The only reason the recap is there is because they cut out the endings. If you look at the opening + recap now, it takes up the exact same amount of time as the opening + ending did before. (Well, 10 seconds more…)
