Isn't it odd for you to say that, when you belong to a group that's focusing on quality releases yourself? What's the use of trading time for quality when several groups are doing that already?
Shouldn't one decide between producing top quality for the archive, a good intermediate watch or a speed sub and then stick with it? If everyone on the same anime would move their output in the top quality direction groups on that end of the spectrum would have to share all the viewers while there's no watchable speedsub at all.

Better than what I do though. I actually invest good time before I make mistakes like forgetting about the wide-screen crew and adding non-mod16 borders to counter 4:3 flash streams that will look shitty anyway.
