Maybe its just me, but something about Nero reminds me of the Michael Jackson of today. With that creepy face and that one glove, and that weird attire…Jango might have been modeled after the Michael Jackson of yesterday, but I think that Nero is the image of todays Michael Jackson.

Can't wait until next chapter. Managed to avoid reading the spoiler topic again, I'm getting stronger.

Okay, I like Nero _ He definately has the look of a weasel rather than an otter. He's got the slender build, sharp features and pointed nose…. I imagine an otter person would be heavier in build and have softer features and more whiskers. Of course, that's just my opinion ^_^

I hope Nero isn't defeated easily.. he's really cool looking _

The "MAD" thing is confirmation enough for me that Wanze = the Mad Hatter.

Seems like a pretty hilarious chapter, though I'll have to read the script now to see for myself. Franky vs. Nero should be nice, but it makes me think he won't have a real fight with Spandam. More of a "Luffy vs. Bellamy" thing, which I kind of suspected before anyway.

Edit: I so called Nero having a different number of "shiki." Admittedly, I did say it would be higher than six rather than lower, but I was close enough. I could see him being somewhat of a goofball, judging from how he fell for Franky's trick and simply the fact that he's a cat-man. Speaking of which, Zoan fruit? Maybe too predictable, but… you never know.

One last thing: Wanze's the man.

actually he wrote 海イタチ-sea weasel
海のイタチ would be translated as "weasel of the sea"
he could have wrote 海獺- kanji for ラッコ (sea otter)
or just ラッコ (sea otter)

I knew people would like Nero's look. Can't blame 'em, that is one funky weasel man.

What a "face heavy" chapter. They exchange all of that stuff with Wanze about weird faces, Lucci smiles, Franky's "evil" face is back, Robin looked shocked, and of course, Nero the n00b.

I actually found Wanze's style annoying. I hate it when people just float all over the place. And that ramen Amingo suit is just weird.

The question to me is: what's going to happen to Usopp and Robin?

…..Oh, and the cover spread was good, too. Robin looked cool with that sword, and Oda's Hawaiian shirts are just awesome.

Wow, a totally awesome chapter. Wasn't expecting it to be this good for this week.

A few comments (some of which has been mentioned before):

I kinda feel sorry for Sanji for fighting Wanze and his Ramen Martial Arts :lol: He missed his chance in saving Robin

*Franky just gets more awesome by the chapter. His close-up shot after hitting Nero was wicked. My personal opinion is that I really want him to join more now

*Lucci showed us a really 'evil' face here. Before he was pretty much emotionless

*Robin and Sogeking, I never expected that. Oda scored another at us again. I never expected that kind of meeting and that fast, brilliant. But it is an ironic meeting in a way as it is between two members that have claimed to have left the StrawHats

Awesome color spread, with SogeKing and Robin in chains (while holding a sword which I thought was Zorro's)

Sorry for the rant guys. It's an awesome chapter

I don't like Wanze.. I dunno, he's just too far out there for my tastes.. I knew I would form this opinion when I saw him last chapter… But Nero is awesome. I still like Kaku and Kalifa more, but Nero is certainly looks cool.

Wanze still freaks me out. His Ramen Kenpo is bizarre, but this is One Piece, it's expected :lol: .

Sanji being able to dodge and counterattack with a 12 kick strike is really badass. Looks like Zoro is going to need train harder when Sanji gets a bounty higher than his .

Whoa, Nero's looks pretty badass, unfortunately he's a bit gullible for falling for that "Look out behind you" trick. His face reminds me of Nezumi, hopefully he isn't a jerk like him.

Nice chapter, itÂ´s good to see the "SanFranKing Trio" getting in fights(well, Sogeking X Robin isnÂ´t exactly a fight, but I guess itÂ´ll be a awesome talk).

I was betting that Wanze would be freaking strong, but seems like Sanji can handle it. One thing that I canÂ´t help but think about…why Sanji always get the weirdos? (oh, and very good fighting scenes, itÂ´ll rock in the anime)

Nero looks cool, kind of a Mihawk style. But still falling for odd tricks. ThatÂ´s what I love in OdaÂ´s characters: they can be funny in various ways, and even the "cool" guys can be dumb and make you laugh... thatÂ´s what nowaday shonen mangas are lacking...

Nero seems pretty tough, getting caught off guard like that and still standing. But that was expected, right?

I think either Wanze will fight evenly with Sanji or beat his ass next chapter. And then Sanji will win in the following chapter(s).

Nero's fight will probably be after that, if it doesn't run concurrently, due to Soge and Robin or Rocket Man.

I think Sanji will kick Wanze's ass quickly, he said he'll end up this quickly, and he also seems a lot quicker than Wanze, I don't know how this ramen suit should help. Also Sanji's always serious about things he says in his fight.

I would like him to fight someone from CP9, he deserves better than Wanze. Also Zoro, I give him someone stronger than T-bone, CP9 looks like they're far beyond him or Wanze.

Well, maybe I'm wrong, I just hate Wanze, he's way to freaky to give Sanji some high bounty

Just wondering…. Why have you taken to calling him a bum in Water 7?

Frankly, we've seen maybe three or so little scenes in the entire series that feature him training. The rest of the time he's pretty much like he is now. I don't really see where the bum things comes from... Partially because obviously Zoro is still the second strongest in the crew.

in the next second i realized that it isnt mihawk but another great character design from oda.

Yeehaw!! Nero is excactly how I wanted him to be! I so called him being a sadistic bastard, and I sure hope what Wanzes words are true- cause it'd go great with his badass looks. Except one thing-is he bald?!

Franky's started looking like Bellamy again…it (very)briefly made me think he could become a villain again. Scary.

And I don't think Wanze's fighting style is that cool, but the character interaction was GREAT! Especially his "idiot impression"!

And agreed, Lucci smiling is...wicked. But it's not the first time. The second before smashing Franky into the wall in chapter 352, he had an eeeeeeevil smile .
Me thinks Cp9 secretly enjoy their jobs a little too much.

And heh…for possibly the first time ever as far as I can recall, something I thought might happen in OP actually happened. I really wanted Usopp to go ahead and find Robin. This could be an interesting talk. Sanji might be disappointed, though. XD (although it's still possible to think at this point that Sogeking might not even be able to get inside from there...I hope he does though).

Awesome chapter. I actually LOVE these ramen martial arts… a lot more than Okama Kenpo. Man, the fire skate was pretty sweet. I just hope Wanze isn't done in too quickly... I really like him.

Nero... a pretty cool design, but looks a bit too... I dunno, girly. Still, he looks pretty cool. And man, Franky CLOBBERED him. I love Franky.

Lucci's freaky smile was the first thing I noticed.

Were CP9 traning when they were at galey-la too? Kaku said he's 23, that means he was 18 when he started his mission, and probably ended up his traning. So if Nero still knows only 4shiki, isn't he then 17 or so? that's about Luffy's age? I think Franky will whoop this kids ass

I love the color spread, and Usopp in the crew as Sogeking was the best. It kinda makes you wonder if Usopp will really be invited back as Sogeking. I really can't wait until he meets Luffy. I kind of think it will be quite a while afterwards before Luffy figures out the true identity and this should provide much hilarity.

As for Wanze, I know I've said this before, but I have got to get my hands on whatever Oda is smoking. This character is really something else, and that mein suit was really cool. Hell, it even looked kind of tasty. Lucky for Wanze Luffy wasn't around or else he might've been eaten already.

Nero is very cool and I can't wait to see more. I think that the ever cliche, yet always cool top of the train battle we've been waiting for since Sanji got on will finally occur, and between two powerhouses no less.

And I so want to see some Robin/Sogeking interaction in the next chapter, but seeing as how we didn't see Rocketman, we might have to wait another chapter. I so hope not though. My god this story is so good. I love Oda (mostly in a heterosexual way though… mostly)

It's very fitting that Sanji is fighting Wanze. Being a cook I'm sure he knows all of ramen's . . . . . weak spots. (It felt weird just saying that) Although if it was Luffy fighting Wanze it would have taken no time at all, he'd just eat the suit.

And Nero, oh my. He looks like . . . . . a really twisted combination of Mihawk and Bon Clay. I know he's supposed to be a weasel, but he really does remind me of Puss 'n Boots.
