Given the goings on in recent chapters it seems like the Strawhats are going to need more power and with them being sent all over the place what is the potential of one them finding a Devil Fruit? Who do you think might find one? Do you think that they would eat it or wait to meet up with the crew and then decide. I definitely see someone at least finding one in the upcoming chapters.
So what are the chances that the SHs will get a DF?

One of them finding a DF would be an unexpected turn of events cuz then everyone would be speculating on what it is ppl screaming for logia and the rest.
As for the situation either Usopp finds one but a turtle eats it, or Nami finds one and wants to sell it but a turtle eats it so she takes it along. No matter who finds it a turtle eats it hahaha.

A Df won't make the crew that much stronger anyway even if its a logia cuz we now see they are even less invincible.

I think if one of them found a df that would be cheesy and cliche. Unless its as Neomaster says and ussopp finds one thats useless. Then that would be funny and the only thing i can think of that would happen and still make sense in the series (if anything can make sense)

I think that somewhere along their journeys it's pretty much inevitable that they'll find a Devil Fruit, but I don't necessarily think anyone in the crew will eat it.
Whatever happens though, I trust Oda to make it not crappy in the end

I wouldn't mind some hilarious ploy by Oda to say one of the SH's found a fruit. And when one finally decides to eat it, they find out they made a mistake and it's just a normal fruit!
I'm sure fans would go nuts speculating who eats it, what type of fruit it is, and at the end how pissed off they are for wasting their time arguing those two points to only have them be pointless

I think Sanji is the only SH right now that could gain from eating a fruit, though knowing him it will be an accident sorta like Buggy. Sanji could be hiding food from luffy knowing it might be dangerous for him to eat it by putting it in his mouth and Zoro could come from behind and hit him causing him to swallow it.
Bottom line is Sanji is one of the main fighters, and as Luffy and Zoro get farther away Sanji is going to need something to catch up. The rest can use upgraded weapons (or body) so if there was one SH to eat a fruit it would be Sanji.

Sanji will never eat a DF. He is able to keep up with Zoro and Luffy till now and he will keep up till the end.

If one of them actually does get a logia devil fruit, then that would be very awkward, because that would probably shoot that character up to being one of the most powerful instantly. Not that I do not like the idea, it would be just to awkward to have Usopp being one of the most powerful characters in the Strawhat crew, not saying he gets the fruit.

For me logia doesn't necessarily mean you'll be powerful especially for a person like Usopp even though I didn't mean to hint at him getting one(logia).

I'd like Usopp to get a DF fruit. Have it be like the heal heal fruit, you allows the user to heal from wounds faster than normal, and kinda prevents him from dying from so near fatal blows. I mean in every arc Usopp gets the shit kicked out of him. so it would kinda make snese him getting a fruit that heals him. Plus a running gag could be the crew trying to see what hurt usopp and what doesn't and the crew using him a a human sheild from like attacks.

IMO Raleygh and even BlackBeard made it clear that true strength isn't gained through the DFs, but with other kinds of techniques. (Well, BlackBeard's strength is mostly based on his logia powers, so the above statement may seem odd, but what I meant was that to beat him you need a lot more than just the power of a DF, whatever its type). There are some kind of powers which may be useful to some of the strawhats though, for example a zoom ability for Usopp.

Well, it makes sense if the person is fighting against Blackbeard. Since Blackbeard can drain the DF power of any person, whoever wants to fight him and win must rely on other sources aside from just their DF power (if they have one).

The illousions would be only useful for scareing people though. I would also like to see Nami get some kind of deer fruit. Just to Sanji freak out and possibly Chopper developing new feelings for Nami. Which would also freak Sanji out.

There is enough "hammer" in the SH crew, in some situation, it may be a burden for some non DF SH when DF SH falls into water.
The effective way to weaken SH is pulling a DF user into the water, others will be busy rescuing their nakama.
I do not wish Zoro and Sanji gain power by eating DF.
If you want me to choose, I'll prefer Franky's cyborg parts "eat" a DF.

Please… no more DF for the crew!! The top is not defined by a devil fruit. The speculation about logia users can only be defeated by other DF users is pointless. Check out rayleigh.. he doesn't need a fruit to scratch kizaru. Or how about shanks, up until now there is no proof that he uses a DF yet he is a yonkou.

I don't know why any of the non-DF SH would need one. They already have their established fighting methods. There's absolutely no need for one to be eaten and the crew already has a plethora of fruits users.

If a devil fruit is found, I see it happening a little like this;
Usopp feels weak in comparison to the other SHs, and after finding a DF on the island he gets sent to, he has to think long and hard if it is worth it to him to actually eat the DF. He knows deep down that just a DF will not make him more powerful, and not knowing what powers the DF will bestow upon him, he questions what to do with it. So, he decides to carry it around with him for many chapters.
Nami then finds the DF, figures it is worth a lot of money, but doesn't want to get cheated out of money, so she decides to try to research what power the DF actually gives.
It wouldn't be until the SHs encounter Vegapunk that they learn what the DF really does. The DF would then end up being a Logia-type. This causes Usopp to reconsider eating it, but Nami would be set on wanting to sell it (maybe worth 500million belli or more?)
It would then be that other pirates find out about the SHs posession of said DF, and come after them to steal it.
The DF would end up being in the posession of the SH for many arcs until someone else accidentally eats it, it is sold, or it is lost/thrown to the bottom of the ocean (Later cover-story arc to feature Masira finding it)
Yea…... Bit of an imagination, but that's just my take on it, if it did happen.....

I thought Perona's fruit was a ghost fruit. Since that's all she really did was make ghosts appear and her leaving her body. Whatever it's not that important anyway. It's unlikely something like would happen anyway. The crew really doesn't need any more people that can't swim. The members who can swim should be more than those who can't.

Hmm…. how about Usopp's Kabuto and Nami's Perfect Clima-Tact? I think there's a chance for those 2 weapons to eat one if Usopp can't improve it anymore. The enemies are getting stronger anyway. For Examples, the Kabuto eats a Fast fruit or something like that which make it able to shoot projectiles with insane amount of speed and gain more power with the speed, and the Clima-Tact with maybe... a Pressure fruit or something like that which's going to make the attacks stronger due to the incredible pressure control of the Element orbs. Nami might be able to create more variety of attacks as well with that. But... it's all just maybe anyway.

Blackbeard gave Shanks THE scar on his face. He was already strong before eating his fruit.
I think the chances of any one of them getting a DF is almost zero, but I would like to see Luffy get a second one through some special operation by Vegapunk. That would be interesting to me.
