Hey, my birthday is coming up, and I have a sister who has decided to give me a subscription to any video game magazine. I remember being subscibed to EGM and GamePro, but after that I haven't been into magazines at all.
I own all three systems, so I have no real preference in terms of Nintendo/Sony/Microsoft.
Which magazine should I go for?

I think RuNa's referring to 1up.com, which is a blog essentially run by the same editors as EGM, they have all of the same big stories there and they print one-man reviews for a lot of the big games first on the site.
I prefer reading on print personally.
I'd definitely go with an EGM subscription, under the assumption that you don't know a whole lot of Japanese and International shipping is gonna be too much of a bitch.
Yeah, I don't know Japanese.

Once a year, 1up allows you to subscribe to EGM for free.
The thing is, that you can do this every year.
Most gaming blogs post when they do this.
