I just can't get over how stupid Moria is. He seriously thought Oars would make him the Pirate King? SERIOUSLY? I know I have said this dozens of times in the past, but this chapter highlights my reasoning behind this. I mean, if it wasn't obvious Aokiji could just freeze the guy in one hit, or that Kizaru could just laser blast his oarse, now we have Doflamingo chopping Oars III into pieces and Moria himself turning him into shichikaboob. I doubt Kuma's Ursa Shock would have done anything to Zombie Oars, but I don't doubt Kuma could have just sent him on a vacations. So, yeah, long story short: Moria is a moron.
Well, in his defense, imagine Oars Jr. with Luffy's speed and mobility. Imagine that Luffy's speed and agility as well as his range are multiplied by as many as as 100 times or more if you accept a scalable speed with no relative diminishing returns between Luffy's regular body and Oars' shadow augmented body. Also imagine that this beast takes no real damage aside from truly crippling injuries like Dofla's. The only problem it would have fighting on his own are the haxxorz Logias and Kuma (who is god).
Now imagine that only maybe 10 guys or so guys can fight with him and to this add any and all participations from Moria into the battle to add defensive boosts to it, and if Moria maybe can affect Logias then I bet that at least a few of the top tiers would have serious trouble with the battle.
Of course we would have to see where NmLuffy ranks in Marineford, but having the willpower/battle experience of 100 additional people would probably allow him to fight evenly with any top tier including Logias.
I think that Moria's original plan was to help out Oars' raw physical power and the ridiculous mobility and agility of Luffy's Shadow with his own powers. That would be quite the beast in my eyes.
The fully decked zombie Oarz with Moria at the cockpit would probably have been able to reach Ace. Hell he could've been able to keep going with no problems whatsoever even after his leg was cut off. The Ursa Shock wouldnt've hurt him, and well, mentioning Moria is needless.
We should also consider that perhaps Kuma cannot puni away such a massive beast, although considering that monster chopper is like a third of Oz's size he probably can.
Anyway, these are some arguments that sorta justify the deluded nature of Moria's dreams, but they are debatable, I guess. I mean, I don't think that Moria's cockpit participation could have made that much difference against all the retardedly powerful people, but you never know.
What is true is that without Moria's knockout, the strawhats wouldn't have beaten Oars, ever.
