Yeah, I'm new to the forums kinda, but I'm sure you've seen my name around, so..

But erm, I'm working on my own art style, and I'd love some suggestions, and comments on it currently. I don't usually do fan art, but I could start to give people a better idea of how it applies.

Anywho, I tried my hand in making a comic recently, and I just got through digitally with the first page.

I personally think it's look pretty shitty, but here it is:

Albeit, the monster, demands that the girl is handed over in that panel you first see him in (for reasons yet unknown. And then the said girl is shown being comforted by a woman you would assume to be the mother. The father makes one last attempt to stop it.

Ok this time I'll rape it (fired up). The hair is a bit strange, and Luffy looks like a Zombie and if you look at it long enough it looks like Luffy is farting

ANYWAYS i think it looks good XP but the only part that bothered me were those pockets i guess XD i was staring at that for like 5 mins trying to think what else it could be besides his butt XD........

Wow. Really? I'm quite sure luffy's ass cheeks are indeed powerful with gear second, no questioning that, but this has seriously got be the first time I've heard someone call those ass cheeks.

Everyone who I drew this around had pretty much confirmed they were pockets. :(

Well, I'm just trying a new style to see what I feel more comfortable with.

This style is kinda more realistic than the other (with the cartoony eyes, noes and lips. I'm referencing my other art in the DA.), and I kinda like it a tad more.

However, I lose the crazy facial expression options and what not if I do draw this way.

And drawing lips is always a pain in my rear.

The outfit he's wearing is really special/funny to me. Guess which animal it's modeled after for a cookie.

Usopp drawn my way. It's just to give a better feeling of what my style is.

It takes the more realistic approach of things, hence usopp's nose.

I gave him a bucket hat, simply because they're awesome.

I drew it in black ink, and then changed the ink to blue in photoshop to give it a more "calm" look, which I think works well for it.

Brooke and chopper have to be the only ones that turned out "well" in that picture. I ruined with inking, so I had to scrap it anyway. That pic is no more.

I would request Brook as a Green Lantern and have him say "I'm the Bone Lantern! Yohoho" and have Sinestro with a funny look on his face like this

Ha! That's pretty funny, though Brook looks a little meatier than he should be in the stomach area, though I reckon that's jsut the suit stretching from the ribs to the pelvis or something, so it does work. Bah, I should just leave it at "good job!" I never was good at analyzing things.

I had him make a cane normally with it. I mean, it's kinda hard to see that since the pic's not colored, but if you look closely at the energy trail…

As the title says, it’s a draft sketch so the excuse the quality.

It’s my first time ever drawing something like this, so I need a lot of critique. HARSH CRITIQUE. DESTROY IT OR I WILL NEVER IMPROVE.

So I’d appreciate any feedback on the proportions, thanks in advance.

Some fun facts:

The guy on the top left, is a dwarf Cyclops named Coleman Gray. Guess where his name comes from. ^_^

And the guy on the top right’s name is Tod Pole, his design is based on a toad.

He’s holding a Giant Tad Pole named Amp. That’s his son.

I’ll give more info on everyone when the pic is finished. Otherwise some things wouldn’t be very clear.
