Hey all, I'm Saiya-jin, and I'm a brand new One Piece fan!(Well, not really)
Here's my One Piece story:
I first heard of One Piece way back when it started on 4kids. It didn't really seem that interesting to me at first, until I found out what it was about. I wanted to start watching it, but I learned that the 4kids' version was butchered beyond belief and I didn't have easy access to the original manga/anime.
It was like this for a few years…
...then, about a year ago, I started reading One Piece in the American Shonen Jump, and I was determined to catch up. However, the 4kids dub was still in effect and I didn't have any good way to read manga or watch the anime(My internet isn't that great)
Suddenly, 4kids gave up their liscense on One Piece and FUNimation acquired it! Oh, happy day! I was excited that I would finally get a competent dub of One Piece to watch! So, I started watching the FUNi dub at the Skypiea arc, and I knew a good enough portion of the story up until the end of the Alabasta arc to get me through. So, I was in pretty good shape. Then, CN took the FUNi dub off and replaced it with some other shows. I was pretty upset. I ended up buying the movie 8 dub and I loved it. Then, the first part of season one was released. I haven't been able find it anywhere, though, so I haven't purchased it yet. So, I am now in Operation:One Piece Recovery. I am trying to catch up to the original manga as soon as I can!
So, that's how I ended up here, I figured this was a great place to meet OP fans who know what they're talking about! 
Now, about me. I'm a guy(A beastly one, at that ;)) and I'm into the whole anime/manga thing. My favorities are as listed:
-Dragonball
-Dragonball Z
-Dragonball GT(Not so much the first two, but its okay)
-Naruto(Caught up with this. I only read the manga now, Shippuuden kind of dissappointed me :S)
-Bleach(Not caught up, waaaaaay behind. Not even up with the dub)
-Gantz(I've only read the first 8 chapters...and its pretty good, its just a little graphic...)
-Katekyou Hitman Reborn!(I love this series, it's a great blend of action/comedy)
-Slam Dunk(Started reading this in the American Shonen Jump, it's awesome)
-Bobobo-bobo-bobo(This series is either hit-or-miss. It was a bullseye for me)
-One Piece( Oh yeah!)
-Eureka 7(Pre-haircut Talho 
)
So, those are the series that I'm into. There are more, but I can't think of them now.
What else? I love to draw. It's my passion, and I hope to become a cartoonist one day(Maybe even a manga-ka! 
) I would love to post up some drawings sometime for all you wonderful people to see.
I'm into all kinds of American shows, too. Some cartoons(But basically anything past the year 2000 isn't that great, with some exceptions). And I'm a big fan of The Office, Saturday Night Live, Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law, Robot Chicken, The Simpsons, King of the Hill, Ghost Hunters, Frank TV, Seinfeld, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, basically any show that consists of WIN, I enjoy. The same goes for movies, too.
I'm into all kinds of music, except country and screamer music. Some country is okay, but I don't like the guitars in it. :S And in screamer music, I can hardly understand them! 
But besides that, I love most music.
Well, thats about all I have for me, I hope to make some pals here and have fun at Arlong Park!
