A live action movie that seems to take place BEFORE the events of Death Note. Has anyone seen it and comment on if its good or not?
Has anyone watched the Live action Death Note prequel movie?

If that's based on the book, I'd watch it. I've read the book, the Los Angeles BB Murders. It was all right, if a bit short (I read it in a few hours). Beyond Birthday did a convincing L, though, even if he was even weirder than L.

It was pretty much above average and pretty boring IMO but I think you should judge it by yourself though. Also, the L movie is not a prequel, but a spinoff taking place after L defeats Light and is set during his last days alive do events in the second live action film. They should have based the L movie on the excellent book.
