i'm tired of how usopp's always the weakest of the bunch. i mean, how could oda make him weaker than nami, seeing that doublefinger would kill nami without usopp's climatact. i'm starting to actually wonder why he would make the sharpshooter worse than the cook. i want to actually see usopp get the 3rd or 2nd best opponent. a showdown with auger or yassop would be perfect. i just want everyone to see him and be like, wow hes not the weakest of the bunch after all, he just took out so and so. like an ideal character rating if i made the series is

      luffy
      zoro
      franky
      usopp
      sanji
      chopper without monster point
      brook
      robin
      nami

so what do you guys think, will usopp finally get better than nami and be a kickass sharpshooter or will he have to resort to fake 10 ton hammers and otherwise be the krillin of the series. as the underdog of the series, i just want him to be a great fighter.

in b4 "oda said usopp will always be weakest"

i think he will become a good fighter, he already is decent its just his bravery. When he overcomes it hes good

he is a good fighter its that his character is meant to be the character that is closer to a human in real life and he has a strength that is better than any one else and that is his will and determination which oda hopes will inspire people to have and grow like usopp is growing in the story, he may be drawn and created to be the weakest but in a way its a good thing

Usopp is a sharpshooter. That's what he does best. He's not going to be on the same level as Luffy, Zoro and Sanji. He'll always be one of the weaker crew members. Even if Usopp isn't meant to be super strong I can still see him fighting Auger.

he's already a good fighter IMO. all his battles and assistance in fights has been entertaining for me.

but just to answer your question.. yes, he will become a good sniper.

              …take it back!!

ill take it back if it'll make u feel any better. the part was funny. but anyways, dont you all have to agree that no matter how weak oda makes him, he has to be better than nami

He is a good fighter, he may be in the weak trio, but he is much stronger than ordinary character/pirate.

Every SH have their own positioning, there are no perfect characters, but there are perfect team.

                  –--

One day he will be super strong, but not as strong as the monster trio,

you can't just compare him with Pirate King(Luffy), pirate king's 1st mate(zoro), Sanji in the future... but he will be one of the finest sniper/real mighty sogeking in one piece world.

I reject your reality and substitute my own.

Is it this time of the week already? dam i thought the "will usopp be weak forever" topic wasn't due till tomorrow!

I recommend: Peerless Martial God, Renegade Immortal, Gourmet of Another World, Trash of the Counts Family and The Great Ruler

                      No he doesn't.

Oda said himself that Usopp will ALWAYS be the weakest.

It's one of the things that drives his characters and will never change.
