Come on, looking at the current events, it's hard to not see this coming. I'm not trying to insult the people here that are from Russia but I think their government is gonna get in some trouble if they nuke poland. Although, the US might not care. I'm pretty sure we didn't when Russia and Germany tag-teamed Poland back around WWII.
Well, back then we practiced two things that we don't today: Neutrality, and Appeasement. And no offense to my country, but we're re-opening old wounds with Russia by putting missles this close. We need whoever will be in power to sit down with Putin and Medvedev with several others in the room to discuss these issues. We don't want a repeat of the Munich conference.
This sounds like it's leading to another "Cuban Missile crisis"-type incident
I feel that Russia won't defend itself unless severely needed. and I don't think the we, in the US, will push that hard.
EDIT: I should also add, when I read this thread, every cell in my body screamed no… But I feel I should atleast touch the subject with my POV.
