Filler Bark strikes again :/
-
Lol, Jigoro and Inuppe were still fighting..
There it is, Absalom just married Hildon. -
Hehehe… That part with Hildon was cute
-
Nice episode if Oz strikes in the second half. Most people here forget the anime actually HAS to fill in elements the manga didn't show. The filler fight of Moria and Luffy was nicely done, i don't understand what people are expecting… thats the way an animated series works! The Moria passage today just shows the chase that didnt make it into the manga...
-
haha, I love how everyone's (well, Usopp & Chopper) are all "ZOMG, Sanji!" & Robin's just going "…..."
-
Great episode, I did like how they add some more randomness in the Luffy and Moria stuff. Which I didn't really mind at all.
-
Odz recognizing Sanji by his poster was pretty funny, and his reaction to Usopp's salt balls as well.
Overall a good episode, the filler scenes weren't bad - especially Jigoro and Inuppe. It makes sense to see them still fighting, i thought it was kinda weird how those strong zombies could be knocked out for so long in the manga. -

It horribly messes with the pacing though

Well, sacrifices have to be made if you don't want One Piece canceled:/

Um, I don't think there is any risk of that happening anytime soon
-
There's only like around a 30 chapter difference if not less between anime and manga.
I'd say there's a huge risk.
-
-
I actually enjoyed the second half of this episode when they started fighting Oz. If they can keep the filler fighting as entertaining to stretch out the episodes, I would not mind that at all
-
I just got done watching the episode. It was excellent. I liked the filler bits. They blended well with the canon IMO. I can't wait for episode 368 because:
! Kuma appears!

Hurr fucking durr. Fillers.
-
So, was that the fourth time two people actually kissed in a One Piece episode?
(The first three being those nasty kissing scenes from that couple in the Warship Island arc.)
It was a very random scene anyway. Poor Hildon. XD However, the wanted poster bit was my fav.Sorry, couldn't find any translationPlease support us by using Babylon search engine

Hurr fucking durr. Fillers.
See, that's the thing that annoys me. There will be fans that bitch about stretching these chapters with filler then there will be fans that bitch when they make filler arcs. They can't win.
-
Sorry for bumping back this thread and double-posting but I just saw the episode and caught something that made me go O_o
Has Robin called Nami, Nami-chan in the manga or was this a Toei error?
I thought it was a subbing error at first but I re-winded and she definitely said Chan.
So what gives? O_o
-
Not a mistake, she really started calling everyone by their names after Enies Lobby..in movie 9 she used "Nami-chan" too.
-
I know that calling her by her name wasn't a mistake. I'm wondering whether calling her -chan as well is a mistake.
Also, movie 9/=canon manga.

Also, movie 9/=canon manga.
Yeah, but movie 9 had all that Oda's assistance going on, i doubt they would just make it up for no reason.
-
So does the anime, doesn't mean they can't have mistakes>.>
It's just weird that Robin would call her by suffixes because the Strawhats are supposed to have a very close relationship that transcends all that and Robin doesn't seem the call people by -chan type anyway.

Those translations usually cut japanese suffixes.

I feel like Moria was really badly drawn in this episode. His scale seems off… not to mention they got his body structure wrong.
He seemed almost egg-shaped. I guess I'm being nitpicky though.
-
I liked how Sanji was drawn this episode. The details to his hair reminded me of Light.
I really hated Moria's voicework this episode. He didn't sound sinister or threatening at all. His seiyuu better pick it up towards the end of the arc.
I still think Zoro's Gorilla moves are really dumb.

I agree.
Overall, I've felt that the anime version of Moria is a bit less sinister than I'd hoped. I mean, in the manga, I got an evil vibe from him, but in the anime, he feels somehow goofier. Guess it's just his seiyuu.
