It follows the life of a homeless boy living with his "grandpa". The story starts to kick off when they encounter a man trying to commit suicide mumbling something along the lines of "before it is too late". Of course from then on the action begins and the dark plot begins to unfold with each volume.
Thats the onemanga series summary. It gets a lot better as it goes on.

I read… first ten chapters or so when Toriyama's World began so scanlate it. It was neat, I think.
Although the last time I heard about Zetman somebody said it turned out to be pretty crappy but, I dunno, it seemed at least like alright.

No, I'm talking about the time skip right after he saves his "Mom"… the girl who called him an angel is hanging out with her friends, and they were talking about stuff I don't care about.
And it took up like 3 good pages. Sorry for not knowing names, but It's always like this with Manga's with heavy Japanese names.

Chapters 159 and 160 are out thanks to Evil Genius Manga Scanlations.
It's been a while. Still not really much to say. The only thing that really interested me was the last page of 160. Two mysterious new characters. It will probably be a few months before we find out who they are though and by then, the intrigue will be gone. I'm kind of itching for a good fight between Zet and someone badass from EVOL.

This manga is pretty unfortunate. As you'd expect, the art is great, and knowing that Masakazu Katsura didn't really ENJOY doing those teen romantic comedies, you'd figure he would be way more into working on this series…but it's such a mess. So convoluted, and not even really for any kind of payoff. The plot doesn't exactly benefit from being overly complicated, the characters aren't all that sympathetic...it's just ugly.

You know, in retrospect, this series was actually really mediocre.
I think I was too overwhelmed by the confetti sprays of carnage and bloodthirsty sinew to actually see that this series is max lazy.
Has anything interesting happened lately?
Last thing I remember I was depriving myself of sleep to press the right arrow button on my computer so I could watch crab people rape a teenage girl. ZETMAN

Been speed reading through this out of sheer curiosity, and at chapter 60 I just had to stop. The art is good, but. . .

This. . .but worse. Much worse. This manga is the definition of MESS. The plot is a fucking MESS, it's so stupidly convulted my head is hurting all over. The dialogue is a MESS mix of absurdly smug and stupidly overblown. The main characters are a MESS of randomly switching from "good guy" to "now I'm all badass and baddy cause. . I'm cool". The villains are a MESS of "justice that's not justice but yes justice but. . .fuck it, I'm a psycho". Then there's cheap attempts at titillation everywhere (in the form of rape, no less) and some incredibly cheap mass killing and gore cause "seinen is rape that aims to titilate and random gore, that's seinen!".
And the pace. Oh man. Kubo would cry tears of joy. 10 chapters in 10 minutes, that must be a new record.
Seriously, fuck this series, fuck it into oblivion, fuck it to the end of mankind.
Edit: I know I had NO need to rant about a series in a thread dead for 2 months and people will rant about "you gave me hope there was a new chapter, damn you!" but. . .fuck it. I'm just too furious at this piece of shit, I had to take it out.
Needless to say, I'm dropping this shit, even if it supposedly gets better after 60 fucking chapters (which I highly doubt). No way in fucking hell I'm gonna keep on reading this. Fuck it.

The chapter 189 and 190 are now translated, and they are great!
! What will jin do, now that he is in Zetman full form? Will safe his girl? What is her name? I forgot. Or will he kill her? Now that he is in berserk/monster mode?
I hope there is more Zetman chapters and that the author don't go on hiatus anytime soon, Supposedly the series is weekly.

Ah, thanks. I really couldn't remember her name. Yep I hope the execution is well made, but the end result for me is indifferent. Lets see where it goes.
