That's a very good point.

That can mean up to 3 things.

1. Chopper was taking the risk of not getting the point he wants while fighting Kuma bot.

2. Chopper has done some off screen stuff to improve upon his rumble ball or concentration or whatever needed to overcome that. (heck, we never found out about the aspect of Usopp's weapon until an arc later)

3. We are underestimating how much time has passed. It seems like only an hour at most has passed since he punched tenryuubito, but could be up to 6 I guess. (we really don't know how long it would take to go from say grove 1 to grove 13. how long they talked ect. Only really basing it off of other rookies fighting, but who knows how far away they parked their boat and how long it took to get there)

Edit: Plus who was planning on leaving. really on sounded like Capone was heading off and maybe Bonny as well. Others seemed to kind of want to stick around and see who's coming and what not. So they may have been sitting around doing nothing for a while. Also Kidd and Law according to last chapter discussion appear to have taken down their bot as well already. so i could see it having already been 6 hours or so.

I'm hoping for #2 since that is a logical action for him to take after almost being killed by Kumadori and shows Chopper's knowledge is growing.

I really don't think six hours have past since he first punched the tenryuubito. A doubt it took long for the admiral to arrive and the entire situation seems too urgent for so much time to pass. As you said, this is an assumption, but I'm guilty of being one of those fans who like to see characters improve significantly, combat-wise.

This was a great chapter. Guess I was wrong about Kizaru having a Flash Flash fruit, but the Light Light Fruit looks interesting. I wonder what other attacks Kizaru will use that involve his devil fruit ability. And the Strawhat team attack against the Kumabot was epic. I like that each of the Strawhats helped each other in this battle.
My theory on what will happen in the next chapters is that it will revolve around Kizaru looking for Luffy, Kidd, and Law. Also, I think in three days, Ace's execution will begin.

so when i saw people saying this was a boaring chapter i had to scratch my head, it just didnt make since to me. Maybe Im just bias to this manga, but boardom is the farthes thing from my mind when reading these chapter. I really dont know what more you could ask for in a chapter. We went from point a admial fight and sh fight to point b the end of those fights, so we had story progession. We had dialog and great action, what did people want dragon to show up?

I also love how luffys G3 is geting more causal, because hes going to need something 10x better if hes planing to make it in the new world.

My guess is Kizaru's weakness is a mirror. Light can only travel in a straight line unless there is a gravity well (BB's power) which will bend it. So one way to not get harm by Kizaru is to reflect him away before he materialised. But then as he is moving in the speed of light that seems near impossible. Or use a prism to separate him in different colored lights like rainbows. ;)

Seems logical, but that was already Foxy's weakness. Would Oda use the same weakness twice? I'm obviously not counting the general water/seastone weakness.

For the simple reason that in my opinion Luffy and Zoro are equal. Further we don’t see the true strength from Killer, so he could be stronger than Luffy.

Even if u reflect the light back to Kizaru i doubt if it'll hurt him besides if he fires a highly intensified beam the mirror will no doubt break. And also he i think he can stop himself before his light reaches the mirror

if you mean that it is like a form of Haki and some of the strawhats should have noticed some force on them or whatever haki does, then that is just a misslead thought that people have made thinking that Asura could be a form of Haki or taping into it partially or something.

We know too little of each to really base any conclusions or lump them together at all.

People like you need to get over the fact it's a fictional universe. People who go around saying "LOL tht guy haz a hia bounti so he prbly pwn tht other guy" may make them selves look like idiots, but they are betting than people like you who can read 500 chapters of a series and without taking a blatent hint. stop trying to make yourself look clever and applying real world realistic factors into a series where eating a fruit make turn you into a giraffe. Bounties are regular used as a measure of strength, and only occansional noted exeptions (robin dragon chopper blackbeard) are there.

Bounties help show relative strength of a fighter but become less and less reliable as the bounties get bigger because different people have been pirating for different amounts of time, certain pirates are more subtle than others (law&BB to Kidd&Luffy) in their methods, and the government doesn't always know everything a pirate has done to get an accurate bounty(Arlong), what kind of strength does one have(militarily? Pure Strength? Dangerous ability? Extremely skilled?).

Even the page's you referenced don't prove you right. Bellamy with 55 million is said to be no match for Zoro's 60 or Luffy's 100 mil yet, Law&Apoo have no problem threatening Kidd who has 100 mil on both. WB is considered the strongest man in the world yet Dragon's bounty may be higher. Its been quite clear for a long time bounties don't = power levels, Oda has even said so.

Great Post. Before Aokiji's statement about bounties, we're shown that increased bounty is proportional to increased strength. Aokiji adds more depth to this by adding that it's also an indication of your threat to the government.

Both sides often argue incorrectly. Saying point blank "Bounties are not power-levels" is just as wrong as saying "Bounties are power-levels."

It's both, and this is something that a lot of people seem to miss. There are extreme exceptions like Robin who had a high bounty based solely off of her knowledge, and then there are other exceptions that have no bounty based off of what his strength allowed him to do, Blackbeard.

For the most part, as the series started, most character's bounties were based off of strength, and as the story progresses, the line is becoming more blurry because different character achieve different feats at different stages.

Secondly, dismissing exceptions only works when the exceptions are anomalies rather than blatant examples of why there is no rule whatsoever in terms of bounties being power levels.

Thirdly the hell am I supposed to be looking at in those scans? None of theme say anything about power whatsoever.

Bounties are big mash ups of dozens of factors, including to some extent power, but also cruelty of actions, distruption, trickyness of ability, anti-government stance etc etc.

There's no exact science involved, using them as power levels like they're some DBZ shit is ridiculous.
