No the first rule ISN'T not to talk about it.
This is a new series on History Channel which talks about dinosaurs, but focuses on how these dinosaurs would fight when the circumstances arouse to it.
Of course the whole dinosaur battles are CGI, but they are TOO good!
For a series that has some pretty good amount of blood and gore I wonder how'd it rank a PG rating :wassat:
Anyway the first ep.'s dino is-

      ! The Majungasaurus!
Sweet X-Mas, these males had such a sex drive!
…but damn the way they explained how these dionsaurs brains worked made me go OoO.
Too good an ep.! Next one looks like it will be about the T-Rex.

I remember a similar series involving fights between animals from different parts of the globe on Discovery (lion v. tigers, polar bears v. walrus) - that show was retarded, partly because of the melodrama involving "x researchers" and "y researchers" and pitting them against one another. The cheese was so gooey. 😐 Not to mention the logistics of the fights were incredible pedestrian despite the seemingly legitimate academics brought on board (a tiger's bite can deliver 800 lbs of pressure to break bone yet can't break through a lion's mane)? Not to mention how ridiculously conditional the fights ended up being, a lot of "in most cases x would beat y, but as a plot twist we'll make y beat x using these conditions"!

I'm pretty skeptical about fight shows for this reason, I much preferred the CGI documentary Walking with Dinosaurs.

I'll take a look though if the CGI is good. :X That other show's CGI was poor.

I remember that show. Animal Face off I belive. About the mane it's not like it stop the jaw, but the fact that a tiger would have a foot long wad of hair in it's mouth when it reaches the throat. What kinda of plot twists? I only remember a shark swiming up a river and a wolf being without it's pack.

Here's the website they even have the wrap up of the first fight. http://www.history.com/minisites/jurassic-fight-club

                Looks pretty intresting.

! T-Rex ep. was good, you can now add that to the many rules of JFC; NEVER fuck with T-Rexs. I still hate the narrator tho.
…but damn the fact that a T-Rex's bite can spread bacteria in its victim is freaking whack, guess they never knew that back when they made Jurassic Park

                    Ep. 3 was too good-

                    ! Raptors= Ninjas
                    T-saurus= Walking slab of meat
Next ep. looks pretty interesting as well.

(more than) Half the stuff in that show is stuff they just made up, either because they just thought it would look cool or because they thought it would maybe make sense in the situation.

Kind of like the Deinonychus in Jurassic Park having a neckfrill and spitting poison- utter bullshit, but it makes for drama.

Enjoy it if you want, but don't assume anything they say to be factual.

One that annoyed me was Walrus v. Polar Bear. They showed the Polar Bear getting gored pretty badly when 90% of the time that's never going to happen to a bear. Even a bull walrus would run away first, and the bears are good at keeping the walrus on the ground and biting its neck.

Their conclusion, "the walrus always wins" is what really turned me off to that show. Not because I like polar bears, but because what Zenigame mentioned - they sacrificed legitimacy for a good show with an unexpected ending.

I'm really hating on "fiction" getting aired on Discovery or Animal Planet. I mean, if "what if" titles were really kosher material for those kinds of channels, History should air Code Geass!
