Ah, well I use Google Image Search constantly. I think the main difference between you and me is that I lack photoshop. Oh well.
Throughout this month, we will be testing new features (like search) so you may experience some hiccups from time to time. We'll try to not be too disruptive...

Ah well that is indeed a stopping block.
[can find it on a torrent site]
WHAT WAS THAT?! I said nothing…. looks around worried
TODAY IS THE DAY PEOPLE! It's been a FUCK-LONG WAIT! I'm going to miss posting with you when it airs but I'll be here in spirit. I'll probably end up seein it on Friday (Thursday your time) since I'll be downloading the 720p version so my posting/spasming will be delayed but when I watch it you know I'll be here like peanut butter on someone that REALLY REEEEEALLY likes to have peanut butter on them.
-
That time of the year again?!
Huzzah!
-
I hope I'm able to see the episodes today. I think I should be able to. But it will require enjoying many cups of coffee. Probably not worth it but…
-
That time of the year again?!
kicks pebbles on ground
bashfully "I love you." giggles and runs away
-
Oh God this is tonight? YES.
Here's hoping it'll be available to watch before I go to work tomorrow morning.
-
Oh God this is tonight? YES.
-
I'm so hyped, folks…
I'm gonna watch it most probably half a day after most of you guys, since I'm currently residing in Germany... XP (Help me God, I hate German people...)
The show airs at ~4 AM (German timeframe), is up an hour later, I will wake up at 8 AM, put it in my DL-list, go to university, will be at 11 AM home again, and be finally able to watch it on my own...
It's always one HELLUVA burden NOT to take a look at this particular thread in the morning, when I'm getting up... Just like this, I was partly spoiled last year's "Ji Yeon"...Please, guys, I would appreciate it, in case if somebody is talking about the sole CONTENT of the episode to put it in spoiler-tags, at least for the first few hours.
Just like we did last year. And from now on, I'm wishing you a happy Locke-Blowing-Things-Up-Filled Lost-Premiere-Event-Day from the bottom of my heart !!! ^^
-
Oh god it's tonight oh god
I'm pumped beyond measure. I can't wait to see what kind of shenanigans go down this time.
-
ABC.com uploads the day after airing, right?
-
Good thing I finished Season 4 via Sci-Fi. Didn't have the internet-capabilities to download em with torrents. Really Excited for tonight.

This post is deleted!

And a hush sweeps across the globe as we lubricate our minds for fucking.
-
T-minus 10 minutes and counting.
-
T-Minus 2 minutes. I've got my lube out, and started rubbing my mind. Now, the only thing left to do is wait for Darlton's epic mindfuck to begin. Someone, hold me.
-
Here it is people! Take a gulp, take a breath and…
-
I'm gonna quote Hurley once more and say "…Dude"
We're only 20 minutes in, and I'm already feeling a crapload of WTF goodness.! I loved the beginning with Candle. I honestly thought that it was Sun sleeping with someone else before his face was shown.
-
Blown away twice and it's only been two commercial breaks.
Make that about 10 times
-
! I still stand by my statement last season when I say that Sun is officially a badass now. That whole scene with Hurley and Sayid at the drive-thru gave me a few laughs. Those two are such an awesome pair.
-
Likewise, blown away, the awesome just keeps coming and we're only 1/3rd of the way through. BTW…
! Time Travel FTW. WOOT!
-
! I never thought I would've been excited to see Ana-Lucia again. I thought that she was alive for a second until she revealed herself to be yet another one of Hurley's hallucinations.
Edit: And, about the 100th "Oh, shit!" moment of this premiere:
! It's rainin' flaming arrows!
Edit:
! I'm gonna hazard a guess and say that the island is waaaaaaay in the past now.
Final edit:
! Mrs. Hawking and Ben are working together?!
-
Desmond here to save the world!
-
Well, I must say that that was quite an enjoyable experience. The staff behind Lost once again delievered the utmost brilliance in entertainment and- WHOOOAAAAA!!!!!!! WOOT WOOT WOOT!!! FRICKIN' AWESOME! FRICKIN' AWESOME! OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!! DID YOU FRICKIN' SEE THAT?!!!!! KICKASS!!!! SWEEEEEEEEEET!!!!!!!! WHOOOOOOHHHHHHOOOOOOAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
clears thoat sorry, that happens sometimes. Anyway, well done Abrams. Well done.
-
pretty good season premiere. They got right to an exciting new plot element with the explicit time jumping, and balanced the two main plotlines well.
-
I just hope that this isn't all that the writers have got for us. Because if they keep this pace up for the whole season, it has potential to be Lost at its very best. I mean, it can't get any more bizarre than this, can it?
-
! Daniel Dae Kim was listed int he credits of the first episode hmmm….
If only it were possible to take Ben out with a Hot Pocket. ^___^ -
Wow. Good God the pacing was ridiculous for the first episode, it was coming up on Prison Break speeds there. They dialed it back a bit for the second one but still, wow, my mind got the shit blown out of it there more than once. Lost is back and in top form of course
! I guess the time-skipping is how we'll learn about Rousseau's backstory and a lot of the island's history, so I can't wait
! My only slight complaint out of the whole two hours was that they felt the need to remind us of Neil's name every ten seconds before he kicked the bucket -

! Well, it's not like it's anything unusual: Arzt, Paulo and Nikki, etc. I guess it's there own weird way of killing off fodder. (Plus, ya gotta admit it was funny when he got shot with that arrow)

! I'm not the only one who saw it coming, right? You know whenever someone starts a screaming monologue that they're about to get hit by a bus or something.
-
One of the most unintentionally hilarious bits for me last night:
! Richard tending to Locke's bullet wound while he was explaining the whole island-skipping, and him cringing in pain when Richard was in mid-sentence.
-
Wowowowow….. I've finally watched the premiere-episodes, and right from the first scene on, I was thrilled.
First:! I called it!! Back, when the first trailer was shown, I called Farraday talking to yellow-jump-suit-guy, who happens to be Desmond. And wasn't that scene HILARIOUS?! "Hey, Desmond, you have absolutely no idea who I am, and I was banging like for half an hour at your door, on an Island you BELIEVED to be hazardous and without any life at all on it, because of this mysterious disease, but hey. Now I'm gonna tell ya all that stuff, you will have to remember, to SAVE THE WORLD, but besides that, you will just NEED to believe me. Yay!!" I was totally laughing my ass off!
Okay, as Mumbo already said:
Now, we most probably know, how they'll be able to tell us about the island's past, Rousseau and stuff along those lines. And this also lifts the mystery around the "new" story-telling-scheme without clear Flashbacks and -forwards, they were talking about back then.
The Hurley/Sayid-Tag-Team-Action was just hilarious, and the whole fighting-in-the-apartment-thing was pure comedy…
Great premiere, just simply great! -
Yeah, I bet that we'll be finding out about Rousseau, too. Her actress quit the show last year, but said that if her backstory was finally seen, she'd come back as a guest star.
I'm more curious about Kelvin and Radzinsky. I actually thought that one of them would
! appear out of the Swan instead of Desmond after Faraday kept knocking on the door.
-
That hot pocket would of totally scarred Ben's face.
-
First episode was perhaps the best, most exciting experience i had with Lost over the last 3 seasons. Although the 2nd one paled in comparison. Not much happened to advance the plot there, except for the ending.
-
Holy fucktards.
Called it from the trailer premiere. Fucking Daniel and Desmond? I'm sorry. Even though you knew it was coming, brilliant.
I screamed like a mother-fucker multiple times but no louder than when ANA LUCIA took off her sunglasses. I mean that's just….That's just great.
VERY INTERESTING is Sun's spite towards Kate. I never realized that. Very well done. I'm glad they finally killed off Frogurt. That was awesome.
I just....I dunno guys. I really can't say much at this point because quite frankly, it's been a long time since a story has met and exceeded my expectations THIS much. What a remarkable series. Richard and Locke's meeting was also very telling as well.
And BRAVO for them making it physically impossible to meet themselves/meet people they previously met to some extent. That was very cool. This way we won't have many, "I'm you from the future! HYUCK HYUCK!", bullshit. Well....at least not until....THAT moment from season 1 if you know what I mean.
Locke and Ethan's meeting should be very important as well.
-
VERY INTERESTING is Sun's spite towards Kate. I never realized that. Very well done.
I don't think there was any spite. She didn't blame Kate for Jin's death at all. If anything, she dispelled any pent-up guilt Kate may have had over his alleged death.
-
Hmm, how can I put it?
There was something there inside her. Her last question even showed some of that. She may have let go of it, but more than that, I was impressed with how they worked it in because I never noticed how Kate handled her 'promise' and that Sun even noticed. It's always a bonus when there's stuff like that.
I'm still just floored by an amazing premiere. I see a lot of complaints regarding Hurley's family. It's highly likely, as Ben suggested, this is the last time we'll see many of the supporting characters off the island. He has what 72 hours. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? Someone in the thread mentioned it but the pace of these episodes is near Prison Break Season 1 speed and any additional time we spend with the side characters we've come to love is well worth it.
-
For me, it also seemed like there IS tension between Kate and Sun, at least on Sun's part. Yeah, she most-likely doesn't seem to blame Kate, but still there is something left in the dark. I don't think, they wouldn't have mentioned it without some thought, back in the mind.
Still, it totally amazes me, how I didn't pay attention to Kate's "promise" and those, now visible, reprecussions it has had on Sun. Fantastic. Greg is nailing the point. -
Saw the first episode , the 2nd one not yet. I want to savour the moment.
But KABOOOMM it blew my mind. It is the first story where timetravel makes sence (I should say storytellers had a long way to go since "back to the future").And BRAVO for them making it physically impossible to meet themselves/meet people they previously met to some extent. That was very cool. This way we won't have many, "I'm you from the future! HYUCK HYUCK!", bullshit. Well….at least not until....THAT moment from season 1 if you know what I mean.
Hey Greg WHAT moment pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, don't make me rewatch season 1 10times in a row to find THAT moment of yours. Because I really don't see which one you mean.
-
For a few seconds, I actually thought that crew who claimed that it was "Their island" were members of Rousseau's research team. But now, I think that the island is in the past, before Dharma even existed.
-
@Senshi:
But now, I think that the island is in the past, before Dharma even existed.
Wasn't it like that the characters were in the past and not the island? Or did I get totally confused? Yeah I greatly enjoyed the episodes. Even though honestly I was kinda lost myself. I really really need to rewatch the show from the very beginning at some point.
-
No, you're correct. It's the survivors that are skipping through time, not necessarily the island.
-

I too am very happy they've gone this route, should help to seal up many of the inevitable plot holes that arise from time travel. Of course when Faraday was explaining this, my first thought was, "but what about Desmond?" Of course we've been led to believe that Desmond has been able to change the future. But they quickly cleared that one up with Farady's visit to Desmond. Seems Desmond is special… of course we all knew that already, but it was nice to hear it somewhat confirmed. So who thinks that the old white-haired lady (I forget her name) is Faraday's mom? Seems pretty likely to me from what we saw at the end of episode 2 there.
-

I think a good number of obsessives like myself where aware of the gravity of the scene at the time. It was the one piece of evidence throughout the ENTIRE series, even at its lowest lows, that you could hold up as evidence that they weren't 'making this up as they go along'.
Although this has NOT been confirmed I'm spoilering it because if you've forgotten this event, it's going to be a fantastic surprise.
! It's highly likely the skeletons from Season 1 in the cave are Jack and Kate. The moment you see a white and black stone exchanged, you know that's the end.
I still haven't calmed down enough to make a decent post or even gather my thoughts but I'm still reeling from this. I haven't been this floored by a season premier since 2. 3 began with a HOLY FUCK scene but from there on it was more or less ho-hum. Season 4's HAD to be subdued because they were making a big secret out of who was and was't 'rescued' but now? I mean when is the last time we've had all the players making major headway all at once like this? Fuckin' shit guys.
I think there were two ooc moments I wasn't pleased with but even those couldn't compare to everything else.
When all is said and done I think this series' biggest blemish/loose-end will be Isabel of the Others. What the fuck happened there?
-
That would actually be a brilliant ending for me. Or if not an ending, one hell of a surprise.
-
Why doesn't Walt count as the group that needs to "go back"? Micheal was continuously hounded by the Island after he left until it let him die. Why not Walt! The time skip would be the perfect excuse to reintroduce him without the "why the hell is he so old" questions.
Greg, I thought about the ramifications for "That Scene" in season 1 also once people were time traveling all over the place.
Also, wasn't Locke shot at the end of season 3? They seemed to have have just shrugged off that injury, while getting shot in the leg is "OMG fix it NAO!"
-
For all the explanations to the time loop continuity problem, someone figured out Lost.. 2 seasons before the end. I don't know if I'm turned off now or disappointed or what, I'll keep watching to see it unfold though.
The answer:
Google is your friend.PS This is gigantic spoilers that may ruin the series for you.
-

I think the difference there was as Locke said, the bullet passed through him. He probably cleaned it and as Richard said, the island took care of the rest. In this case though he needed to remove the bullet.
BTW it occurred to me if only the people were moving through time, the island would never have vanished from sight ^_^;
Which is to say, perhaps that MOMENT was the first in a chain of events that actually led to the change in history of the island.
Why doesn't Walt count as the group that needs to "go back"? Micheal was continuously hounded by the Island after he left until it let him die.
Probably because 'Walt' is exactly where he needs to be. Or should I say…
! Abaddon

Huh!? Did I miss something? PM me if it's too spoilerific.

Nope, it`s speculation, but a damn good one if I do say so myself.
