It looks positively dreadful.
Lucky Star without any other shows to drown it out is going to be unbearable, not to mention mediocre titles like Jigoku Shoujo and Gundam 00 returning to the fray (yes, I didn't feel anything for 00).
The new Gainax show is gonna be filled with stuff I don't like, and Hokuto no Ken (while a classic) has had really poor anime adaptions in recent years either in OVA or Movie form, so…I'm not expecting good things. Souten no Ken was cool though.
Rosario + Vampire is LOL GONZO. ;_;
Also, ef - a tale of melodies? This has got to be a joke, right? o_o

Is Ride Back starting now or is it continuing? Never read it but it's a Ikki comic so I'm interested.
Conclusions:
Michiko to Hatchin looks Hot and Cute. I may perhaps accidentally take a very tiny and swift peek on it whenever it comes out.

The best-written Takes game with the best ensemble cast. Other games in the series might have gotten guys like Wakamoto to play scary blackness, but it was like Abyss's characters were made just for their seiyuu. An anime of them will be YES.At least until Luke cuts his hair and turns into a pussy.

Shikanabe Hime-story seems kinda like a copout of the one series that came over to america via Dark Horse -not sure if that wasnt the original-Blade of the Immortal,I think.
Tytania,even if the concept is not altogether new actualy seems to have the highest hopes for me.Along with Hell´s Angells,which seems to be the only non traditional thing in there.
However,Yozakura Quartet-thats gonna be,by the description,either somewhat good or its totaly gonna suck

I am never going to stop hearing about Abyss and Black Butler. Ever. A ton of people I know have been fangirling over both of them for AGES, and just as I'm starting to get used to the constant trickle of "omg Abyss" and "omg Black Butler" they just gotta go and prolong it by pulling this. There is going to be a surge and I'm going to want to choke bitches.
Why do you do this to me, people who make anime? Why?
At least I expect them to be phenomenally successful, so I guess I can't really fault them for it too much.

I heard Kurogane no Linebarrel is a good manga, so I might watch that (even though it only have 19 chapters, so far…don't know about the other ones though (I guess I should see how well they are graded)

I'm also disappointed that there was no Fairy Tail anime news. But then again, the manga hasn't hit 100 chapters yet so I'm guessing we'll just have to wait until Spring 2009 to see what happens.

Eventually, maybe…but as i said, i doubt it'll be subbed in a regular basis. Souten no Ken finished on March 2007 and so far there are only 11/26 fansubbed episodes.
Anyway, this really seems like one of the worst new seasons in recent years, and that's saying A LOT.

No, that's not right at all.
Only a very small number of shows are subbed, and many shows are oversubbed (like Code Geass). Even popular shows don't get many subbers (Gurren-Lagann just had BSS/anon) if the subbers don't think they'll be getting tons of electronic rep points by putting out a sub.
Even the weakest Geass sub gets 1000+ leechers in the first ten minutes, whereas Kaiba would be lucky to get that in a month.

Hmm only a few got my attention: Mchiko to Hachan looks interesting as does Corpse Princess. Hmm Lucky Star coming back for another run neh. Nice. Love the OVA of Today in Class 5-2 so let see how the anime does. As much as the first part was hacked to bits, still holding out hope for Rosario+Vampire this time out (shrug) Maybe they'll get it right this time. And hey Stitch! Looking forward to that one as well.
Shoot though no word on Fairy Tail, c'mon Japan what taking ya.

still, the story in paris is pretty neat and if they don't skip the competition in lyon at the beginning, this is gonna be a new must-see.
still, i don't know if i might watch a lot of all these shows, from the last 2 years, i think i watched till the end only 4 or 5 shows. Dennou Coil being the best of them all.

Hokuto no Ken from Raoh's perspective? didn't they already do that in OVA form? Not that I don't mind the HNK story, but they've Re-told it how many times now? Can't say I enjoy his updated VA either. Still badass though, hope the violence is amped up from the OVAs. not holding my breath though. Still waiting on the "Legend of Kenshiro" OVA.
And completely off topic, ARC-System works needs to make a sequel or update to the guilty gear styled HNK fighting game. The very reason I had my PS2 modded. ^^

I guess Ride Back is the only title on that list that's peeking my interest. I've been meaning to check out Nodame Cantabile for ages, though, so this just might be a good excuse. Noramimi I'll get into as soon as I get my ass and gear and get on with the manga.
Michiko to Hatchin caught my eye aesthetically speaking, but I don't really expect the series to have anything to back it up. Still, if the animation's good I guess I might give it a go.
