310 was worse than this? I don't know how that's possible. I'm a Naruto fan and this is easily the worst chapter in all of manga history. Gaara wipes his ass with this chapter

310 was the one where Naruto was on ground weeping like a small child becuase he couldn't bring back saucy… again. Though with a foolproof plan like 'rush in blindly and talk to him' I was also very suprised!!
I also forgot to add that it was also the same chapter where Sai spends 6 pages drawing a picture depicting how great friendz he is with everyone

At least some story progressed in 310, this chapter felt like an episode of Punk'd.
Atleast the art was good, but that's all I'll give Kishi.

Some readers were complaining about the futon:rasengan seemingly just being a powered up rasengan. meaning a powered up version of a move that was already nearly unblockable.
That's already quite boring.
Furthermore the flaw of rasengan is that it's hard to hit the target and naruto should have concentrated on tactics to ensure the hit (which he partly did with the improved use of the bunshins) but it's obviously even harder to hit with that new jutsu which at the same time isn't even necessary to kill.
->kakuzu would have been dead by now if naruto had used the normal rasengan.

This was suppose to be a comedy chapter, but he kind of failed to pull it off. Though, Kakashi and Yamato were funny at the end. It is just funny how Kakashi personality changed when back up arrived. He is not worried at all now. He acting like a teenager with his buddy tenzou.
I don't really see how this was supposed to be comedy. The main thing this chapter showed is that the Rasenshuriken is basically a powered-up Rasengan that can't be thrown and disappears a few seconds after being formed.

Well, at least, this chapter is not so bad. The best of this chapter is another demostration of the Kakuzu's power(Futon jutsu and Katon jutsu at the same time) and the reflections of Naruto to grow.
The jutsu failed because it's incomplete and only lasts a few seconds.
But don't worry guys, because next chapter is:
341 The results of the training! The growth of Naruto!

Well, me personally, I never got off the train, I just yelled at the conductor.
As for why most people here hate Naruto, read the last two chapters. In a nutshell, Kishi makes Naruto look like he's really about to blossom. He charges his new jutsu for 2 chapters while Yamato sits there and brags about how new Naruto is. Then when it's time to deliver, Naruto fucks up and everybody goes "thats our Naruto" and Kakashi then proceeds to save Naruto's ass. It's just like Punk'd.
At what point was it cool to make us wait 3 chapters for Naruto to mess up yet again?

the last thing i found funny in naruto is when lee asked neiji to jump on his back, just like kakashi and gai. that was a loooong time ago. and that was 10 times less funny than luffy asking if brooke can take a dump.

Meh, despite how terrible this chapter was, Kishi can stil redeem himself. It all depends on how he handles the rest of the Naruto vs. Kakuzu fight. Since we now know Rasenshuriken can be held for a few seconds, it means Naruto's going to have to use some strategy to win this and not just go "RASENGANRASENGANRASENGAN" until Kakuzu's dead. This may have been an awful chapter, but it's gotten me excited for the rest of this fight.

The Naruto failing, showing growth in using kb intelligently and in trying to overcome obstacles and all that is fine but it takes too long. Kishi's editor must be an even bigger idiot to allow or force or whatever this. This isn't suspense this is just draggin out.
It's always next week. Just because Naruto's on the cover of JUMP doesn't mean he'll do anything good. And if he does anything good it'll never be as mindblowing as it's supposed to be. -

I like the character actually. It's just the rythmn, the coherence of the plot, the execution from Kishimoto is fucking terrible. And the fact he simply can't let this Sasuke douche on the side even in chapters dedicated to the main character's development is getting really irritating. Who in his right mind likes Sasuke anyway? I mean except 11 year old goth kids who yell "ILL CUT MYSELF!!!" when their parents refuse to buy them the latest transformer toy?

I honestly liked the Naruto character when I first started, then as time went on his routine was old. He just hasn't really progressed or changed in character; this usually isn't a huge problem for shonen main characters, but for characters who desperately need it like Naruto, it is.

My gripe isn't whats going to happen, its what could've happened this chapter. Why waste a chapter on "OMG NARUTO MESSED UP". Personally, it screwed up Naruto's badass factor, which Kishi had been building for two chapters.

I recently got back into Naruto (Blame finding my lost Gekito Ninja Taisen 4 for that :P), and decided to read all of Part 2 (I didnt read like any of it at all before).
I personally thought Hidan was really awesome, with an evil power even if he did not use it to the max possibility it could be used. The way he got owned was really the only way to defeat him but it was kinda rushed IMO. He shouldnt have gotten killed off that fast. The same with Sasori; he was a pretty interesting character for his whole 1 fight.
But on the recent chapter, I think that it was pretty pointless. This was just a waste of a chapter, basically a repeat of last one, cept with Naruto failing again. I hope that this jutsu is going to do some creative thing, because I find it a bit boring right now. What is the point of having it as a shuriken, when you basically have to hit them with it like a rasengan? Well, lets just see what is going to happen, it might turn out better than we expect.

What he should do is create multiple clones and make them all do the Futon Rasenshuriken. That way he has more chances to hit and even if he doesn't, it won't matter because they're just clones.

What he should do is use his wind powers to do something other then rasengan. Naruto has so much potential, I really think he should eventually be something similar to Aang from Avatar.
I think Wind can be a very defense element, allowing him to use wind as shields, make him move faster, even fly. Why should he just keep using Rasengan in various ways? And why make it a shuriken if you have to hit up close? Kishi boggles me. USE NARUTO'S POTENTIAL PLEASE

Rusashi, I forget to say that in the last page of this chapter, Kishimoto writes what happens in the next chapter(with colorspread added) and this is the title of the chapter 341: Results of the training! Naruto's growth(or change) which means Naruto finally shows the true power of his jutsu and his growth, which is glad to know
I can't wait for the next week.I also want to see Sai in action. He is an anbu, right?
I'm sure when Naruto learns Yondaime's teleport jutsu, he'll be almost unstopable.

Yeah, Kishimoto seems to be stumbling with this whole "plot" thing. It seems that Akatsuki are just fodder to take up time until we reach the inevitable Saucekay/Orochimaru confict. Honestly, I can't see any way Kishimoto can resolve that conflict without it coming out totally crappy.

Cap'n Cater has reason. When the chapter releases in Shonen Jump, the editors writes at the end of this chapter what happens in the next, but when they publish the volume they do not put it because they do not want to bother the fans.
So we can be calm, because the next chapter will show us the best of Naruto
Why do you believe that the following chapter will have colorspread? It's obvious.
For example: At the end of the chapter 336, there is it: Next chapter: Shikamaru's Abilities! The reinforcements! And what happens in the chapter 337? You know it, guys

I'm also pretty sure they aren't necessarily "summaries" of what will happen either. Just kind of general predictions of what may/may not be the result.

The thing is, that would tell of the colorspread. While the hints do come from the next chapter ahead, they tend to stretch out these descriptions to lure in fans.

Please during the Sasori fight the end of chapter summary always said "ZOMG IS THIS THE END OF THE FIGHT?!" only for Sasori to pull out another BS transformation.
So don't take those summaries seriously.

$5 says Naruto gets his ass kicked the entire chapter next week. Then he says a speech while still getting his ass kicked. Then at the very tail end of the fight, he steals a victory with one attack due to "job aura." instead of actually being superior to his opponent.

Nah, Kakuzu will probably just get torn apart by this new rasengan. Any jobbing will occur before it gets there.
Also, which fights did Naruto use "jobber aura?" Naruto's wins seems pretty legit to me. Kishimoto even spells these things out before the fights. Naruto has "high stamina," "high chakra," and "the kyuubi."
Really though, this is probably just a stall chapter since, it would be "unrealistic" for this guy to be beaten by Naruto in one chapter. If it wasn't this result, then it would be Naruto OHKOing an Akatsuki right from the get go. More people would complain about that….
It helps when you don't wait for it week to week.

And why does Naruto have to think of Sasuke (can't he be like the younger Naruto where his goal was to be the Hokage and make everyone notice him)

One problem I have with this logic is that, even Kakashi couldn't fight Kakuzu on his own. Whenever Kakuzu catches you like that, you're stuck.
