I have to admit, this chapter was made of pure awesomeness. I think it's the first time in naruto where they were actual "ninja" and suprised attacked the enemy and it actually worked. Badass!

Naruto, who still is my fav character, in the second part in only acting like an idiot, and it seems that main characters are others, like Sakura or Shikamaru, just like in this chapter,kwhich is pure gold, but, as stated by others before, the series should be renamed as Shikamaru.
Shame to Kishimoto for killing Yugito, the hottest ninja in Naruto so far? We need some Chiyo, now!

I finally had the time to read the chapter, it's better, but still to much talk and few action and I personally would prefer to see Ibiki torturing session first
But at least the Shikamura plan does look good and it may bring a good next chapter
Also saw a new movie announcement, can it be that they'll make a movie out of Kakashi Gaiden ?

Meh, should have seen that. Then again, something in my head tells me they probably could get away with the first couple arcs (Rescue Gaara, that thing with..um…yeah, Sasuke) straight through before maybe working on some filler mission prior to the current arc. (if only to get to know Yamato and Sai more..um, maybe not) Besides, most of the stuff so far is from the beginning of the time skip (heck, I've seen TS Lee and Temari in that one pic with Deidara and "first form Sasori"...), so it shouldn't bee too hard. (then again, this is from the animators that brought us tiger Mizuki and the million and one uses for Rasengan...good thing I only watch the dub :p)
Y'know, Negima WAS awesome…

Well, that was a decent chapter for once. And figures, it's one that features the side characters instead.
I really wish Kishimoto would be more consistent in his quality. We get chapters like this that are more like how it used to be, but then we get chapters of lots of big bare panels that are supposed to look "artistic" with lots of characters crying. Sheesh.
That aside, I am glad that the anime is finally finishing the fillers. I'm hoping Part 2 is more enjoyable in anime than in manga, and maybe they'll make some fillers that take place in Konoha so that we don't feel like the side characters are getting ignored.

Well as long as he's developing Shikamaru, its okay for me. Shikamaru is my favorite character, then Rock Lee, the Naruto.
Why does everybody think Rock Lee is so good though? He never won a battle except his debut but that shouldn't count since it wasn't finished, at least i think so. Did he ever win a battle?

I don't think Rock Lee is "good", he's just a great character. He's hilarious, has dones of passion and determination, and has gotten pretty far for someone who can only fight physically in a manga filled with people bursting with chakra and special abilities.

Did anybody notice at the end of tonight's dub episode? When they showed a still of the people who were angry about Kankuro forfeiting how they kept the cross on that guy's necklace? It's pretty interesting, considering that sort of thing would normally be editted.

Hopefully they'll learn their lesson and make Shikamaru stop saying What a drag. Its probably not going to happen during his fight…but they'll learn like they learned with Naruto.

That's the one thing that bothers me about dub Shika, I'd like for him to say troublesome like he does in the Jap version. Other than that, I love his voice. Anyways, next saturday, I get to rewatch one of my favorite battles in English. Shika vs Temari, can't wait.
