The only reason Shika was upset with Naruto was because his head jerked when Naruto punched Gaara. He didnt feel the punch, he just felt the movement.
Also if that was the case, when he fought the sound girl he wouldnt have tried to choke her with his shadow.
Making the body move is different that making EVERY muscle use. It is not a plot hole to me. Shadows only mimic the body, they never mimic the inside or even small movements. Just outer movement. The jutsu makes the person it touch or captures into Shika's shadow.

I am convinced Naruto spent a total of two weeks with Jiayara. The rest of the time he was off completing filler missions.

Ditto, you never get those "owning" moments u expect from a main character. But as a fan, I still have faith Naruto will get some shine eventually.

People, I think I need a Naruto update. 
Here's what I remember since NII started:
1. Naruto returns.
2. Naruto meets people.
3. Akatsuki! We must save the Kazekage.
4. Naruto and Kakashi go after Kisame and Itachi?
5. Something about 30% clones. Gaara dies.
6. Sakura and Chiyo battle Sasori.
7. Naruto and Kakashi battle Deidara.
8. Sasori dies, Deidara escapes.
9. Return to the village.
10. ANBU Root (defunct) leader gives Sai a mission.
11. Sai, Naruto, Sakura and Yamato attempt to infiltrate Orochimaru.
12. Battle against Orochimaru, 4-tailed Kyuubi, Naruto "loses".
13. Sasuke appears (somehow).
14. New mission, Godaime Hokage mixes up the teams.
15. Chuunin infiltration into Akatsuki; Asuma, Shika, and someone else?

And after 13, where Sasuke somehow enters the inner workings of Naruto's mind, and almost initiating "that" jutsu.
Yeah basically how NII is so far which seems slow and "dull" at times and the ONLY parts interesting are the Akatsuki. I really hope now that with this "new" windsengan Naruto will finally be able to shine on screen!!

I thought the chapter was good. It had some good action and we get to see Malfoy's strange power. I don't know why but he somewhat reminded me of Blight from Batman Beyond.
Seems like Hidan got a sample of Asuma's blood, and they'll suffer the same injuries..
Compared to the previous chapters, this is turning out to be pretty fun…
the "you will suffer instead of me" jutsu is not very original but with shikamaru around (while hoping he won't turn emo when asuma dies and will still be awesome) it can turn out to be very good.

No. Ryo-san will only be making cameos in Bo-bobo, One Piece, and special crossovers for Lupin III, Kinnikuman, Golgo 13, and Dragonball.

Did the mangakas volunteer to put Ryo-san in their manga or did Sheiusha just hand pick whatever mangas they wanted?
Cause I imagine it would be a great honor to include a character from Kochikame in their manga, so I'm wondering why only One Piece, Bobobo, and the most recent one I saw Gintama got to put Ryo-san in it. The Gintama by the way was freakin hilarious!!! Everyone got taken over by the unique unibrow of Ryo-san and in the end when the sister appears you can see a tiny Ryo-san in the background.
And I can't wait to see the crossover between the 4 classics, especially if Kinnikuman meets Goku….. talk about epic confrontation.
Well, I imagine mainly humor oriented manga put Ryo-san in, since him popping up in the middle of a Naruto fight would make no sense.
i've been out of the Naruo loop for a sec but, anyways a pretty good chapter. Been a while since I've seen a 3-on-1 fight. This Hidan is one hell of a guy to fight Asuma team all at once, i'm enjoying this fight very much. Off-topic: when is this supposed 4 classics series crossover coming coming?(Can't wait to see Goku back in action)

Actually, Hidan's form reminded me of Baron Samedi from that James Bond film Live and Let Die. They both have skull faces, and can't die. Heck, Bond shot Samedi twice, then pushed him into a coffin full of poisonous snakes. Yet at the end of the movie he was fit as a fiddle and laughing maniacally.

I'd say the nerdy chick with the robot arm takes the cake for worst character (although Capcom didn't design the Ex characters, Arika did).

They usually come around the same time as OP, but lately we've been getting One Piece just a little early. So I'd say Thursday if you're lucky.
I still want to see if Kakuzu does anything special. Hopefully he's more than just "I'M GREEDY AND PUNCH THINGS! FEAR MY UNIQUENESS!" Maybe he does something water based? He is from the waterfall village.
