Hey guys, I'm just wondering if anyone is going on a comiket held in Tokyo this August?
Comiket

Forgive me for being the idiot that I am (and a simple search could answer my question; but for the sake of discussion), but what is a "Comiket"?
-
No worries, comiket is a comic market that is held in Tokyo twice a year, here is a link to more info:

The thought of going to Comiket scares me a bit; not only are there so many people, they're all otaku! There's so much awesome stuff from TYPE-MOON and 7th Expansion, KID and Key, Leaf and ZUN though, I'd love to get me some non-H doujin games and play up my weeknights.
Oh, and manga too, but I'm not big on doujin manga…it's usually very shallow even if the art is good.
-
hehe
I'll probably be squished by otaku people, but if I'm going to Japan the Comiket is one of the things I really wanna see -
Do stop by ZUN's booth if you can, it'll probably be swamped but I want to hear about the latest Touhou and if it'll resemble EotSD, PCB and IN - the new one (Touhou 10?) sounds really lame, I like the classics.
I hear TYPE-MOON is also putting out a Tsukihime remake…they're pro now but since the original was doujin this will be too?

Eh, Touhou 10(fuujinroku) isn't by any means bad. The music isn't up to the YAYAWESOME levels of past games, but it's still of the fun.
My only complaint is that it's hard as FUCK, even on easy mode. -_-;;

I don't think it has a release date yet, and it's going to be full retail edition, not a doujin game. Needless to say, I will be preordering that shit the second I can.
Also- TYPE-MOON doesn't have a comike booth this year, thanks to rules technicalities or something from what I heard.

Is Touhou 10 the one that involves the new game-play changes? 'cause I wasn't too happy hearing that, it's fine for IAMP but ZUN didn't need to tweak classic Touhou at all to put out a new game.
How hard is it compared with EotSD and PCB?

They had one last year though?
I'm still waiting for "Archer's Route" as an FSN extension, and I want some bloody happy ending with Saber, dang it! A happy ending rectifying Saber AND Archer's plot lines.

Only major change in the overall gameplay is in the way bombs work. It's not bad or anything, just different.

Harder than Perfect Cherry Blossom, at least.
In that, I can get to Yuyuko with around one or two deaths on my part, and without any if I'm on a roll. Generally wind up wasting them all on her, but that's how bosses are.
On the other hand, Fuujinroku's endboss is made of pure rape, and I've only barely managed to beat her twice. And that's on easy mode. >_<

They usually have a booth, and it usually has massive crowds. Just this time though, they messed up somehow and weren't able to get one. They'll probably be there for the winter comike, though.
They've managed to get something set up at an actual store in Akiba though, I think it's in Sofmap. That's where they'll be putting out the latest Fate/Zero stuff.

HAHAHA.
If happy endings are what you want, you're a fan of the wrong company. ^_^;;
As much as I'd love to see something like that, even I have to concede that it'll never happen.

With which character?
For PCB I traditionally used Sakuya, but later switched to Marisa when I trained on EotSD and got to that swastika bomb on Extra before losing all my lives. I haven't played in months though because my laptop melted and all my data was destroyed.

That's expensive. Nasu needs to put something new out aside from Tsukihime, though I guess I underestimate it's popularity.

Like how Satsuki's Route was never gonna happen amirite?!
One just has to be patient! I'll only have to wait until 2012 when I work at Leiblich Pharmaceuticals!
