This chapter we had Robin asking about the Void century and Ussop asking about OP. This to me suggests that they are two seperate things contrary to the semi prevalent theory. So what do you think is the theory untouched or left without a leg to stand on

Not to prick the thread bubble, but if you start a thread you should probably provide some more information besides three sentences and a question.. it makes for a poor discussion and i dunno.. your question seems poorly written to me, or maybe i'm just stupid since i cant understand where your coming from.
Are you asking if the history of the world and one piece are still connected or if people believe that they have nothing to do with each other.
I'm gonna say they're connected due to rayleigh saying pretty much that roger and everyone else on the crew was just a pirate, i believe clover from ohara was also a roger pirate and helped them understand the history of the world which opened the door for roger to find one piece.. whats the ultimate treasure if theres nothing ancient included with it? i think having the knowledge to bulid the worlds most dangerous weapon would be included in the best treasure ever.

What is the theory you thought was proven wrong btw? could you expand on that?
And yes Elric is funny. You might need to read a few more of his posts to understand his humor and what he means by it though.

I don't see how a thread on a manga forum represents your view on humanity, but okay. I think the Rio Poneglyph will be a huge part of One Piece, whether it be necessary to find out the larger things, or if it's just a part of it. I think that it'll be more then just the Rio Poneglyph though.

OP, next time you want to start a 'serious discussion,' do enough research to provide your own strong opinion. You didn't start a discussion, you asked others to.
Robin's and Usopp's dialogue does absolutely nothing to dissuade the notion that One Piece and the Rio Poneglyph are the same thing. They're the ones who don't know anything about either of the two; if anything, the dialogue would more properly set up the plot twist that One Piece and the Rio Poneglyph are the same.

Yeah, not yet. But think this, if they're the same, then Luffy and Robin will have the same dream. That'll be a problem. Also, One Piece is described as a "treasure in a single piece." I can't imagine that treasure to be as simple as Rio Poneglyph.
