Could the power to hear the voice of all things be Mantra? Aisa, at least, referred to her ability to sense others as "voices." Either that or Roger became the uber bad-ass he is while all the while having a Devil Fruit like Apis'.
This is a great point! Glad you brought it up… tho Mantra according to the residences at Skypiea was widely a thing sky people were born with. So unless Roger was from the sky islands and had his wings lopped off... I don't see how it'd work. I can't remember if mantra could be taught or not, but if it could it'd take a long time, which we now know Roger didn't.
Also, Apis had a devil fruit?

So much information and so many words we can't interpret correctly yet.
"he had the power to hear the voice of all things" - is is related to Gol D Roger or a hint to One Piece itself? Oda will tell us one day and whatever we assume, it will be brilliant and unexpected :D
"a genius like clover or the scholars of ohara" - I assume we will see more of the people of ohara. even Aokiji told Robin, that "ohara is not dead yet". Even if Aokiji just meant Robin is still alive, I would say, we will either see more flashbacks of ohara or maybe another survivor. (Like the ohara-guy of GR-Crew left the roger-pirates to stay at the rio-pone. something like this)
"you may even even reach a different conclusion to the one we have arrived at.." - This implies to me, that also Shanks (and Buggy) know the full history or this "we " is related to Ray and Roger only. But it says, that after learning the full history you conclude to let everything as it is right now or you can change something. At this point I think Roger concluded to leave the change-part to his successor and prepared any kind of things in this last unknown year.
"who are you" A dump cliffhanger, but it could be Axe Guy or Sentoumaru (if they are not the same person). As Monkey D. Dragon is always expected since 400 chapter, he would be no surprise. Agreed, it does show a different kind of personality, but in my mind I wonder if it might be considered similar to a future version of Ussop?
Anyways, I did like the chapter, and agree with the whole Ussop asking about the treasure and Luffy refusing if he was told. Looking at Capone saying the marines were out gunned, I'm wondering if either he has
a. A greater number of men (Which I would prefer) or

I never said Kizaru was Spandine with definitive proof. I said it was a possibility and everyone else took it out of context, as with everything else I say. People only hear what they want to hear.
As for Davy Jones Locker, they already said in the manga there's a great treasure under the sea in Davy Jones' locker, guarded by the legendary pirate Davy Jones. It's canon, it's stated. Deal with it.

Wow. The speculation is getting out of hand. Smoker? A yonkou? Really? Come on folks. Take a creative writing class and learn why that would be really bad writing. I'm glad Oda only takes minimal suggestions from fans because if he took more the story might as well end in the next arc.
