Zone Alarm blocks internet access.

I've been frustrated for the whole day since I couldn't get on the internet even though my connection was fine, and now at 2:19 in the morning I think of disabling my security systems and wha-la, I'm able to access Arlong Park.

The culprit is Zone Alarm, which for some reason won't allow Firefox OR IE (note: I've only used IE four or five times on this PC) so I don't think Zone Alarm blocked access based on a Firefox update or a Firefox attempt to connect. As such, I don't know what I should look for to permit access.

Could anyone point me in the right direction?

Zone Alarm is a really evil program, it's a bitch to let you access Internet and anything related. I don't recommend to anyone use this.

Just turn it off, delete it, and get AVG, honestly. Half the calls I've been having in the last couple days are because of it. They don't have an update to fix it yet, and system restore doesn't fix the issue. They say they're "Working on it", but crap knows when they'll actually fix it.

Thanks Xaravir, I was able to "fix" the problem.

FFA - I have AVG Free, it doesn't have a firewall. I dislike AVG 8.0 so much I'm going to download an older version of it and Adaware when I next format my computer.
