I thought up an idea for something fun we could do. We could form different "crews" that would each have their own locked subforum. You could only view these if you belong to the corresponding crew. We could have stuff like contests, Davy Back Fights, and the like. But, limit the crews to maybe like four or five and if the need arises, slowly add more. What does everybody think?

So like usergroups and fanclubs, right?
No.

I don't mean fanclubs which are only full of whiners and trolls. I mean like a more general friendly-competition kinda deal. I do understand your point because they might become degenerative, but I am trying to deviate from fanclubs.

So… The impression that I'm getting here is something that would go into this category:
@The administration. On the rules page.:
Roleplaying, while fun, can be a source of drama, and is something that our staff does not have the time to moderate. It is not allowed on the forum, however, we encourage our members to RP elsewhere.
That aside, it sounds like it would be an enormous pain to keep track of for the administration, what with having to shove a ton of child boards on here for each group. It's a nifty idea, but I don't think it's really us. (Did that make sense?)
We've got enough goofy cliques and groups here as it is.

Okay, I can understand that. :) It sounded like a good idea, but that happens a lot. :)
