361: Perona's Terror!? The U in Uso is the U in Usopp
-
-
Hello, I am new on this forum. This doesn't work for me and I don't know why.
-
TVU also has Fuji back on it's list, so it can be seen there.
-
Yes that's true and it seems to be working perfectly. But when you say it out loud, the computer decides to freeze and then TVU doesn't work :getlost:.
-
Screw TVU, Keyhole, etc
Just open this url: mms://waryas.ath.cx/live
with media player. quality is largely superior. -
Oh come on, there's no need to open a thread half an hour before the damn episode begins >_<,
Commercials now, after OP before the flashback and stuff. ;o
-
Yay! Good animation from the movie 6 team for this episode. (:
-
First half done. Hmm. The filler Luffy vs Moria is nicely done, thats what i missed in the manga. On the other hand… whats with Robins face and Chopper? Their scene was drawn bad....
I love how they show the ending of Oz' adventure and Moria's control over him. Very good episode until now!
-
The HR stream might cut off the end since it seems the episode started late, thus overlapping another show they broadcast (Zettai Karen Children <<)
EDIT: Okay, it didn't come to that~ Next week Zoro vs Ryuuma.
This week's episode was kinda… Boring imo. Robin's stuff was 100% fanservice, and is it just me or did I see sum pantsu there?
-
Wow, great episode!
Funny, fast paced and nicely animated. I wasn't a big fan of Usopp vs Perona, but the anime made it awesome till the very end. Even the filler bits with Robin/Chopper fighting and Odz "transformation" were nice this week. -
I really liked the animation with the exception of Robin (even though there were sexy poses :p)
I also loved the performance Usopp gave.
A good episode with an excellent ending (I really can't wait)
-
Wait, wasn't Perona's mouth supposed to foam over at the end?
Zoro next week. Woot~
-
you guys seem to be the best at judging who animates what.
IN the preview for next week, was it the same as this weeks episode?
Edit: and yes it was supposed to foam over, kinda disapointed it didn't, but oh well. Doesn't make the scene any less cool/good or funny.
-
To The Faithful Shinigami - Yeah she was. I wonder why they didn't show that :/
-
Aw, man, I was looking forward to the scene of Perona foaming at the mouth.
-

Nope.
Anyway, great episode. Love the Movie 9 style art/animation. The anime adding in the scene of Odz's personality changing was a nice touch.
-
This was a good episode and it must have been the movie six team who animated it. The animation was good but I agree with some of the other members that the scene with Robin and Chopper wasn't as well animated as it could have been. It was also rather rejoicing to see the transformation of Oz from being kind of like Luffy to an obedient servant of Moria. It was also extremely funny to see Oz looking for his hat and thinking about his next action, to become the Pirate King . I was just wondering whether you had seen this before? http://www.bandaigames.channel.or.jp…ial/index.html. I know that I am not supposed to put this here whereas it regards the game but not the newest episode but I have already put this in the One Piece Unlimited Cruise thread so please don't ban me . I would also like to apologize for saying too much whereas I am a new member.
-
there was maybe two things in the chapter that i was dissapointed in. The foaming would have been nice. and I always thought the hammer was gold colored, considering he did say golden pound.
but overall an awesome chapter and can't wait till next week.

Ah, Usopp is such a dick. <3 I'm more disappointed in my fraps programming for not capturing all the screens I tried to get..
For the Robin fans:
-
Ouch.
16 bungled art styles.
-
You'd think Local'd be here in a flash after that being posted regardless of how it looks.

UPDATE
Here's the ep out in RAW:
One Piece 361I liked the ep only except 2 things, 1. The animation for the Chopper & Robin fight was HORRIBLE, and 2. Perona didn't foam from her mouth at the end of the fight!
-

I'm here for teh RoChos anyways XD
-
Holy moly. This animation was made for One Piece. Truly awesome. If only I could see this more often. The drawings are off but, Da–am.
-
if they didnt show perona foam , than how did they show that part?
-
Uh, the foam was just a detail, it didn't make any difference.
-

They just showed her mouth wide open.
Foaming mouths are often edited out in anime apparently. They did it in the Naruto anime too.
-
I really enjoyed how Usopp totally sold his performance. I wonder if Yamaguchi san is a wrestling fan?
Next week is zoro vs ryuma. now with most of the fights wrapped up or half wrapped up, I wonder if we'll have the fight over in a single ep. the two swordsmen's fight wasen't THAT long.
although with chopper and robin's fight still going that might be doubtful. but then again, with the events that happen in the closing of their fight, the anime would need to end that one last. so they gotta wrap up zoro's battle first. (it's weird that the anime has done the fights out of order, but i suppose that's meant to keep it paced for more screen time)
-
Good episode. My only minor gripe is how Jigoroh against Robin was handled. I always interpreted it, that he broke free because her bone breaking twists and holds had no effect on a zombie body, but in the episode she grabbed him in a manner in which any strong character would have broken free. It's not different then breaking chains with superhuman strenght. Robin however twists ankle's around in a manner where your own strenght works against you. And this was missing. I mean it's no biggie, but it still could have been avoided.

They're out of order? Cuz from the chapter list I'm looking at right now they are in order.
-
I just thought of something, since all the fights are getting extended, I bet Nami is gonna get an actual fight against Absolem now!
Oh, one more thing, it looks like Robin is getting an actual fight now!
EDIT
You know, I take back what I said earlier about the animation on the Chopper and Robin fight, the animation wasn't that bad, only except the part when she fell the 1st time, but after that, it got better! -
@Yonkou#3:

hmm you're right. for some reason I thought that Usopp's fight came after zoro's in the manga. whoops
-
About the foaming, there were multiple times in the anime where people who foamed, did not. This isn't the first time.
-

Hmm, i don't know. Sure the zombies can't feel pain, but their bones are still breakable, we saw Robin beating weaker zombies this way and even
! Odz stops moving due to a damaged spine.

Actually the only fight being extended is Luffy vs Moria.
Robin and Chopper being beaten up by the zombies happened, we just didn't see it in the manga. -

Yeah, but zombies usually keep on moving with broken, disfigured bones so that should have worked here. That she was beating weaker zombies doesn't change a thing, since it was as effective as the attacks of the other Strawhat's, which means they weren't finished until purified.
! Odz stops moving due to a damaged spine.
! I know that. But the difference here is that if you have a broken limb you can still move it around, while you can't move your legs with a broken spine.

Well I didn't mind the jogiroh fight so bad. He did break free of her grip once. Then with choppers help she managed to hold on to him better. So it was two to keep him. and i mean also later in the manga it does show a small panel of him breaking her grip again, so its not like it was bad by toe. It is cannon that she can't hold him.
I just wish they would have had penguin kick her sooner, the salt scene was so slow it was like come on robin just flick the salt you don't need to slowly feed him

No, I didn't mean that I'm having a problem with the fact that he broke a grip of hers. I'm having a problem with what kind of grip it was. She didn't twist any of Jigoroh's joints (which is something she always does when using her power). And from such a grab actually everybody who's physically stronger could break free. And I was expecting him to be able to break free because as a zombie he doesn't give a rats ass about broken joints.
However you definitely have proven the point that it's not Toei's bad doing. I went back to check on the chapter (which I memorized as Robin grabbing him in the manner I'd expect) and she held him in the same manner as in the anime. So it's Oda who's to blame for that which is actually a pitty because now Jigoroh really wasn't so special but rather Robin screwing up her move. I should put a bit more focus on these details in the manga next time.
