because I hope Funimation can have Boxsets done for lupin and other shows

Funi also got Hellsing Ult. I hear. If they release the series in 2 eps. per DVD I'm buying that!

Would kind of be pointless if the episodes don't even out but by then they'd most likely be compiled in a box set.

All this means is FUNimation is distributing Geneon's done DVDs, not that they've acquired the licensing rights to them. I find it a good thing though because I'm paranoid about the Japanese getting a foothold in American business and "heterogeneous" American born companies like FUNimation, ADV, Media Blasters, Central Park Media and (yes) 4Kids need some lifeblood in them.
While I'm a closet FUNimation fan I do wish Media Blasters, ADV or CPM got this deal, since they need is most. However, ANYONE is better than Bandai USA, so good going FUNi!

All I'm happy about with this deal is that "Law of Ueki" can finally have a completed release…then maybe I can look into getting the full series to go along with my manga.

So, it's simply a partner ship to distribute their titles? I was about to say if they merged then FUNimation just got a shit load of new staff.
