A big topic of discussion amongst the OP world these days, is which 4Kids voices were good or expectable. Most people say Zoro's voice was fine, and that Robin's would have been good without the accent.
Personally, I liked Chopper's voice. His new voice is too high pitched IMO, and I preferred his old voice. And Koby's Funi voice isn't the best either.
I don't care what anyone says, Sanji's "I'm so cool with the sucka in my mouth" was just the best thing ever.
Here the 4kids voices I did like Zoro, Nami, Chopper, Robin, Buggy, Bon Clay, Kuro, and Wapol.
I prefer Zoro's 4kids voice over his FUNi voice, honestly.
And yeah, I liked Wapol's voice too. Hopefully FUNi can keep Sean Schemmel for him.

I liked Clay's too, because it sounded stupid and slightly gay, which describes Clay's character.

Robin's voice, has that same elegance and cynicism that made Robin… well Robin.
Zoro, Chopper & Ace's voices were the ones i liked. Ace's current one, though not bad- doesn't really fit him. The scene where he was on board buggy's ship in the original just seemed alot funnier, which i think was…mainly down to the voices...
Zoro and Chopper were good, Nami was good, but the FUNI voices are much better. I like Enel's as well, even though FUNI's is lightyears better. Only voice I liked 4kids better on was… um... nevermind
I was like the only one who didn't think 4KIDS' Zoro wasn't all that great? I mean he was the best actor out of the cast, but I didn't think he fit Zoro. I did like Early 4KIDS Chopper when Liza attempted to sound like a boy. I still prefer Ace's 4KIDS voice, but I haven't got'n used to FUNi's version.
I did enjoy Arlong's 4KIDS' voice, it would've been better without the voice masking.
As everyone else has already said, Marc Dirason was the best out of the 4Kids Strawhats with his Zoro. Lisa Ortiz's Chopper was decent for awhile, but it got too girly in Alabasta.
I probably would've liked Hachi's voice better without the double-over effect.
-Veronica Taylor would have been PERFECT for Robin, if not for the Southern accent.
-Frank Frankson, or whoever did Ace's 4Kids voice was awesome, but sometimes he tried too hard with the "ultra-cool big brother" voice. Also, as much as I love the FUNimation cast, I would give Travis Willingham the boot if I could get Frank back.
EDIT Yeah, Chopper sounded better in Drum, when he had the nasally voice (which I LIKED), but once they got to the Alabasta arc, Lisa got lazy and was using the same old, "squeaky little girl" voice that she does for all of her characters.
Luffy's 4kids voice and Luffy's FUNI voice sound the same to me.
I liked Zoro's 4kids voice, UNTIL I heard his FUNI one.
I also liked Buggy's voice better than his current, and Krieg's 4kid's voice was helluva lot better

I think the only reason people like him so much is because he referred to Zolo as "Zoro," and was actually a fan of the series.
Bonny Boy's voice fitted him well. I also liked Crocodile's voice puts up anti-flame sheild when he wasn't spouting retarded comments. Ace's voice was also pretty good.

I sort of liked Usopp's 4kids voice. I know it was a little cartoony and overdone, but I was amused by it and it fit the character. I also liked Bon Clay's dub voice as well as Chopper's (though I thought the changing voice when he got big was idiotic, it should have stayed the same). I really didn't have a problem with Luffy's or Zoro's either, to be honest. Nami's was very different from her original voice, but it did suit her, so I wasn't bothered by it much. Some of the enemy voices worked well too (such as Wapol), while others were way off (Hawk Eye). Many voices I'm indifferent on, minor characters and such, and I think the 4kids dub actually didn't do an overall terrible job except for the several obvious poor choices (Sanji and so on).
Of course, I started out watching the dub, so maybe they just seem familiar to me, and that's why I wasn't bothered by them.

Koby's voice. That was about it
-Zeff's voice was cool, even WITH the Brooklyn accent. I actually liked it better than the original Japanese voice (Koji Yada made him sound too old for my liking).
-IMO, Gaimon's "Mr. T" voice was perfect! I wonder how FUNi's gonna handle his voice in the Season One: Second Voyage set?
-Bon Clay was also great, except for his over-the-top dialog…

Don't get me wrong, the VA actually made the crazy dialog work, but better writing and directing ALWAYS makes a difference.
-Beckman and Lucky Roux's voices were also great. Especially Roux's voice, which sounded similar to his Japanese voice.

Those are actually the voices I liked the best. Probably the only voices I liked the best. FUNI's Crocodile sounds…weird. I don't like it.
Zoro, Nami, and Robin were OK in my book. The Berserk fan in me really liked Zoro.
Luffy, Usopp and Chopper had room for improvement.

Vivi had potential but just her acting was some of the most blandest and stiffest I've ever heard

Same here,dude. I think it's because he played Guts in Berserk and that alone.
Chopper's voice was pretty damn good in the beginning. It sounds great in Grand battle adventure but i heard it sounded horrible later on in the actual series.
Crocodile's voice was excellent and Ace's as well. They're probably the only two voices from the 4kids dub that're better than the Funi version.
Luffy's voice was okay compared to the rest of the strawhats.
I liked Kuro alot but I like the Funi version just as much. It's just that weve heard that VA from Funi so much people dont see him as Kuro because he's overused/.

I actually liked EVERYONE'S 4Kids voices in comparison.

Zoro- Ok, this one is fine but since when was Zoro 40? Plus, they totally jacked up Zoro vs Daz Bones so I can't like this one.
Nami-Eh, Her new voice is better but I could live with either one.
Usopp- Crap. Doesn't fit him. Sounds like he attempting to sound like the old voice actor.
Sanji- Terrible as hell. His new voice is much too generic. At least the last guy gave it soul. Even if it was a bad french one.
Chopper- his old one is better.
Robin-New voice is fine. Old one didn't need the southern twang.
Franky- Funi voice sucks for Franky! I don't kow how 4kids would have done it but I bet it would be better.

Hmm… for 4Kids voices I liked:
Robin: Veronica Taylor is one of the few actors in 4Kids who has talent. The accent was a bit much, but I was only able to really notice it when she used stereotypically southern words like "dally". Like Kazu-kun said earlier, Taylor was able to portray Robin with elegant yet cynical inflection. I have to give credit to Stephanie Young, though, since she's good at that as well.
Zoro: His VA was another one that sounded good. His new voice is great, too, but his 4Kids one sounded much closer to Zoro's age (it's 19, isn't it?). He was able to emote much better than most of the other voice actors, but Sabat's voice works great. He was my first choice for Funi Zoro.
Chopper: Lisa Ortiz is in the same boat as Veronica Taylor; one of the few 4Kids actors with actual talent. Chopper sounded great in the games and at Drum Island, but it went downhill at Alabasta. However, I still found it preferable to Chopper's Funi voice, which sounds more like a screaming idiot than anything, since he's CONSTANTLY screaming in Funimation. I think Chopper's new voice is the only one I actually dislike among the Strawhats.
Vivi: Personally, I prefer Caitlin Glass (sp?) as Vivi, but her 4Kids voice wasn't too bad. Her voice was incredibly stiff most the time, but there were a few times when sounded pretty decent (Grand Adventure being a notable example).
Buggy: I don't feel this needs an explanation.
Bon Clay: The ebonics accent actually worked here, and it sounded just as goofy and queer as Bon Clay's appearence would suggest. He even made the idiotic puns sound less, well… idiotic.
Mrs. Double Finger: I actually liked this voice. It fit her very well in my opinion, and sounded pretty good aside from the occasional needle pun. In fact, to the best of my recollection, her Funi and 4Kids voice sound very similar.
That said, the Funimation dub cast is far superior. I would take them over 4Kids voices any day (except Chopper). The voices I posted were just a few good actors in a vast sea of mediocre garbage.
From the 4KIds dub I absolutely loved Sanji, Usopp, Cabaji, Pearl, Patty, Kuroobi, Mr. 2, Luffy, Southern Robin, Mihawk, Miss Monday, Mr. 3, Tashigi, Shanks, and Mr. 1!
Okay, not really, the only ones I actually liked were Zeff, Krieg, Gaimon, and Ace. Funimation is quite superior in my opinion.
I did not like any of the 4-Kids voices. I watched the Funi first and listening to the old voices felt chessy with no soul. I heard Zoro's old actor was better, but he sounded bad to me. Sanji sounded to "wannabe". Luffy sounded the same all the time with no vocal range whatsoever. Nami sounded like she lost her IQ. Robin sounded like a country hick. Chopper was okay but it lost its charm during Arabasta. Ussop sounded like an teenage idiot with hormones more than a cowardly human being. The only okay voices were those of some background characters like villagers.
In terms of acting, I think Funimation has great actors. 4-Kids only had a few.

Ace: It was all right, but I like Travis's voice better than Frank Frankson.

Luffy: I used to think he had good voice...but that was before I heard Mayumi, and realized that he was more of a dumbass then his Japanese counterpart.
Anyway, Funi pretty much pwns most of 4kids' va's.
