I just love this series. I just wish Lion Gate would let go of the first Dragonball Movie and the Empereor Pilaf Saga so FUNimation can do the remastering crap to Dragonball.

Well, it was a long wait for Funimation to get to do the first part of the series themselves, but it eventually happened.
by the time they release all the DBZ box sets, then the GT box sets, they might finally have the early DB stuff.

I wouldn't declare them the same thing. GT was fan made… Z the author didn't intend it to go longer than the frieza saga and Dragonball was when hte author actually enjoyed making the series.

Ignoring the fact that "Dragonball Z" was just a name made up for the anime, and that the manga was just called "Dragonball" from start to end, I'm fairly sure Toriyama said that he still hadn't gotten tired of the series when volume 30 (Cell-saga) came out. Though it's clear that he DID get tired at some point, as he also mentioned how making the new covers for the Kanzenban, while they did make him feel a bit nostalgic, also made him remember that he did not want to make anything more of the series, and who can blame him? True, One Piece has lasted almost as long as DB now, but not everyone is that patient.
Anyway, Dragonball used to be my favourite show. Then I saw One Piece, and it was pushed down to second place. Then I realised that I also liked Haruhi more, so it's currently my third favourite show.
But I sure wish FUNi would stop f***ing up every single release and just give us a proper release (Dragonbox-footage, please? Spain got it, so why can't America get it as well?) instead of cropping it, messing up the picture and saying "BEST RELEASE EVER LOL!!!!!!!!!11" when it's actually a complete disaster and the single worst release of any anime ever. Or at least it's pretty damn close. -

Because that's the way anime works around these parts we Americans are always getting screwed when it comes to anime one way or the other though probably not as bad as the Germans.

I've got five words for you: The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. The american release of that show completely exceeds the japanese one in every single way. Other shows, like Azumanga Daioh, Naruto, Bleach and now One Piece, also get quite excellent releases, and any flaws those releases have is almost guaranteed to be the dubbers' fault. (Bleach's hardsubbed video, One Piece's edited logo and title-screens etc.)
I'm fairly sure FUNi COULD get the Dragonbox-footage, they just won't bother because their current crap-releases are already selling like crazy. -

I don't follow, but they made such a racket I also heard that. I think the company was releasing them in chronological order while the fans bitched and moaned that they wanted it in un-chronological order like the TV broadcast. (Which was fuck confusing…)

And then Bandai started including them in the broadcast-order in the limited edition from volume 2 and out. Not even the japanese release got the broadcast-order, that's why I said that the american release is superior. Whatever,this is off-topic anyway. Do me a favor and don't reply to this post.

You mean like the people who think the japanese version is an abomination that should never have existed, or that Dragonball AF is an official series with an anime-adaption, (It does exist, but it's just a fan-manga) or that Insert other retarded rumors here, and have about the same level of maturity as Goku did in episode 1? I've been rewatching the series on DVD for the last month or so. I'm still on the Namek arc, though and only have seasons 1-3. It felt so nice to finally see what Dragonball Z really was after hearing the Japanese voices for the first time. And, it never really dawned on me how unfitting the Bruce Falconer music was until hearing the original BGM.

I love db akira toyirami is the most greatest manga-ka( I read that word in a book I'm fancy) ever to live. Db/DBZ/SANDLAND/COWA/DR.SLUMP ARE ALL AMAZING and i no this is off topic but me growing like dbz because it used to be big not knowing it was also a manga cause I was 4 make me a fanboy. Ow and also Im the proud owner of the uncut vhs frieza saga when they were first released. I most have at least every episode seen and have complete box sets of so many I just always liked it and it still will always be the best manga ever. I got a new Dragonball Doujinshi the other day. It's got some Gohan and Videl interaction (flight training; It's pretty cute and the art is nice), Trunks and FT interaction (lol, this one is really funny), and some more Gohan stuff. Finding DB doujinshi is pretty rare these days, especially one that emulates the style of AT.

Budokai had the samething and no one criticized it for that and actually most reviews have given good scores to the game so it actually did better review

No i have no clue who that wannabe is. I mean that you want to show that the series is still good but you show only 1/6 of the story. Thats what I mean and to me the best DBZ games ever were defintely the ones on gba goku 2 and buus fury were the bomb.
also who is everyone here favorite charecter mine is defintely super 17 from GT. I always thought he was cool when I first liked the series and always have. I was so happy he got aa story arc in GT cause that charecter diserved it.
also whats your favorite fight in the story mine is actully in GT when goku fuses with vegeta to make Go-something that was cool.

They make Burst Limit give you a few characters,levels,and story arcs to play with then a while from now they give you Burst Limit 2 this repeats until they come up with something else to rob you of your money.
