I was thinking with the interdictions of the novas, aces execution, the war, and the whole luffy flips on the government thing that oda has a tough job ahead. I mean hes gonna have all the novas going to fish man island together, the war, and the execution not to mention the new world. This is really gonna be great but definitely tough to create. Do you think it will be hard for oda and what do you expect from rest of series.

I can see the Supernova's dropping like flies if what Moria said about the New World come out true. That is, if the Supernova's are still around. Then I'd put my money on Law, or even Kidd going far.
I'm really interested in how Oda will deal with Luffy's body and his continuing use of Gear 2nd and 3rd. Usopp did shit his pants over Luffy in Thriller Bark and I'm pretty sure that wasn't put there for a reason.

Tis true the rookies will fall in the coming arc or arcs in the New World. But others from the Strawhat crew will just take their place. I mean take at least Robin and Sanji for example. They are really close to 100 mil already.
And By all ends I'm sure Franky, Usopp will be. Who knows what htey do with Chopper, and Nami. Oh and Brook probably will too.
So the 11 rookies dwindle to at least 9 by the end.

I forgot to write my part I think that in the end of this arc somehow law will fight zoro and luffy fight kidd but new world will defintely be crazy. I just wish we got an update on wb and shanks soon.

Do you think Oda plans to add another shortly (or do you think the Thousand Sunny is supposed to be one of the crew members)?
Also, when Luffy does eventually meet Shanks, will he give the Straw Hat back? It would seem kinda lame to be the Straw hat pirates w/o a straw hat.

Luffy said he wanted 10 nakama, which is a crew of 11 when you count Luffy himself.

there is no need for a timeskip. They are only needed for an author to age a character, such as Gohan/Goten/Trunks ect. DBZ Or the 10 year old ninjas to be older.

I expect Buggy to make his glorious return one of these days.
The cool thing about the format of this story is that even if Oda has all of the big plot points fully planned out, an interesting new idea can be written in very easily.
And knowing Luffy, I don't think the ten-member limit is set in stone. Anyone who catches his eye for whatever reason will probably receive an invite. That being said though, I don't want the Straw Hats to become a large group.

What I'm hoping is for is:
Everyone to form two sides:
- The World Government's side
- The Resistance
And the World Government turns out to be so cruel that characters like Smoker, Tashigi, Hina, and the CP9 gang actually JOIN the resistance.
What about the Strawhats, you ask? They don't care about the war at all. They keep moving and only acts on what bothers them.

At this point, it's all about the SHs and the Supernovas. I predict that Luffy, Kidd, Law and Hawkins or Drake (and their crews) will all advance to the New World. There they'll go their seperate ways and two out of the four crews will survive 'till the end… Luffy and Kidd or Luffy and Law, which is what I assume from Oda's build up of the crews so far. He is definately focusing a lot on Kidd.
I also think that Donflamingo's New Era theme will act as a large arc, like Alabasta was, for the New World, before the real shit goes down. Shanks will die in the end IMO, heroicly. I know Oda hesitates to kill but things will definately get darker and more serious in the future. Whitebeard will die, I'm almost positive of that. He's old and his time has come.
Buggy, Smoker and Dragon have all got meetings with Luffy planned. Buggy may end up becoming a good guy in the end, I always think there's a glimmer of good in him. I have no idea what Oda has planned with Dragon. As for Smoker, Luffy will defeat him and Smoker will acknowledge his greatness. I think the only reason Smoker is chasing Luffy is because he wants to see how great Luffy really is. When Smoker witnessed the 'smile before death' scene, he just couldn't let that go and is trying to see if Luffy is a fraud or truely something special.
Oh and Koby. He wont do much towards the story IMO, but will be Luffy's main threat after he becomes Pirate King. Also I wonder if Oda will expand on space pirates.
What I'm really looking forward to is the revealing of the 'true history' and the past of Gol D. Roger and how he became Pirate King.
In the end I expect Luffy vs Blackbeard. Oda probably has that all planned out.

That's exactly the point. I assume that Spandam will blame EVERYTHING that happen at Enies Lobby on the others, even though the opposite is true.

I still don't see BB as that main a part at the end. I predict that the s/h and him will fight in the war at Marijoa(sp) if the war happens there. I don't like BB i think his character is kind of stupid and would be disappointed for him as the last fight in the story. I think the end will have s/h vs there main rivals like

And I think the last island and the one piece itself is the history of the government from the polygraphs with most of the treasure that Gol D Roger gathered as bonus. The polygraph IS the One Piece IMO :X.

Wow what an awesome title, you only become it because two people stronger than you kill each other.
But anyway I would love to have a confrontation with Blackbeard soon, the whole building him up and having him last enemy and what not is kind of gay. I liked it when we had no idea of the enemy's they will meet and face and what lies beyond. now we are keeping waiting for this to finally happen. A lot of Ace stuff happening right now, so who knows maybe we will have it happen soon.

I don't think he will because Shanks told him to give it back when he becomes a great pirate. Luffy has gotten great but not yet on the same level as Shanks. So I think he'll keep it.

Why does he have to die?
All magor Pirates will have to either go through some magor changes or be killed before the end of the story.
The Equilibrium of Yonkou,SBK and WG will be broken with the destructiong of the WG by the end of the story. And unless Oda's aim is to make pirates rule the world, most of the more magor pirates will need good riddance. The role of the revolutionaries will probably somehow fill the void, but i can't see all magor pirates surviving. Ace's dream is to make WB Pirate King, but it's obvious that won't happen, where does that leave him? I'm not saying he has to die but he almost definately hasnt to go through some significant changes if not.
