**one of the characters was a black guy with a afro… not that i don't like afros but it didn't seem right in a samurai game... it had maybe 10 hours of gameplay on it. not worth the $60 i paid for it...

Finding Nemo the game. Good movie. Gawd awful game.
-
Kingdom Hearts is one of the worst games EVER.
-
Are you serious. You really think Kingdom Hearts is a bad game.
-
It sucks the ass.
-
I think Superman 64 is the glitchiest, piece of garbage ever developed for a home console. But the sad thing is, that same game, went on to sell half million units worldwide.
-
Hey, I have Superman 64…I can't even get it to start.
-
HellBladeKnight, why don't you like Kingdom Hearts? I've never played it before, only read manga here and there, but always hear positive feedback of it. I wanna know opposing opinion, too
-
I didn't hate it, but I didn't really like it. It just wasn't my style, and the gameplay seemed like an experiment.
-
Kingdom Hearts didn't appeal to me. But the worst game I ever played was Shaq-Fu. Just..ugh. Mediocre characters with poor controls and plot, even for a fighting game.
I remind everyone, espically that HellBladeKnight fellow, that some people like some of the games, like Kingdom Hearts. So if you don't like it, back it up with reason, other than the halfassed reason of "It sucks the ass."
-
Metal Gear Solid 2.
No wait…Final Fantasy X.

Usually. I mean, sure everyone has their own opinions, but sometimes….. you're asking for it.
I personally didn't like Hexen because the graphics (from what I recall) were so weird and it was disorienting. @_@ I usually don't care about the graphics, but Hexen's were..... tough. Then again, I only played about 5 minutes of it and was O_o over the whole environment and everything to really look into it more.

You guys are spoiled. o.o
Back in my day, if you could spend more than an hour playing a game, it was 'good'.
The worst game ever was 3D Bike for PC. All you did was "ride" a bike around into different really crappily designed screens and pray the computer different crashed. "Ride" is in quotes because you weren't really there, and the wheels of the bike didn't spin. You just moved forward. If you were lucky, you could enter a 'secret' level by crashing into any random wall (if it wasn't the right wall, you went right through it and the game crashed).
Final Fantasy X is nowhere near as bad as 3D Bike. >.< -
What RB said.
That game sucked ASS.
Also don't forget Hey You Pikachu for N64.
Goddamit that stupid rat won't listen to me! -
E.T. for Atari 2600 was horrible. Played the hell out of it though (we didn't have a lot of games for the 2600).
Amagon for NES was atrocious (sp?). Worst game we ever rented. I think it got maybe 5 minutes of play before we were nauseated beyond words. -

Hahaha.. I was gonna say ET on the 2600, too. I had a copy that I played a lot. It was an exercise in frustration! I'd always end up at the bottom of the well with no energy, and then I'd have to sit there until I hit reset or something.
Somewhere out there is a landfill filled with ET cartridges. >.>
Other than that… uh... Fatal Rewind on the Genesis. I wanted to embed my controller in the TV everytime I played it.
OH! For arcade games… Time Killers. What a crappy fighting game that was. We called it "Quarter Killers" because it would eat your money like candy. The computer could kill you in the first 5 seconds by chopping your head off, and the one at my local arcade would do that rather frequently.
-
Master of Orion III was the worst game I've ever tried to play. Also any Superman/Batman game. They've NEVER done it right.
Pikmin also bugs the hell out of me.
KH is also overrated, but doesn't warrant a "worst" title.
-
I'd have to say Robotron X..
Robotron is a nice classic and it should have been left as one. Robotron X is a horribly ugly game and it was so difficult to know what was ever going on.
-

Actually, I heard that they dug up the ET cartridges and destroyed each and every copy that was buried. Which is just as well, since no one would want it before it was buried (People wouldn't even accept it for free) and no one would probably want it unless they are starting a museum of "Bad Moves by Companies" or "Worst Games Ever Made".
-
Kinnikuman: Dirty Challenger.
I think I nearly cried once, over that.
Kind of creepy, when you think about the title. But the awesome GameCube title Kinnikuman Nisei has won my heart back.

My parents only let me play on Nintendo Super Mario for 30 minutes. THIRTY MINUTES! What can I do in 30 minutes? We didn't have a memory, either. I had to stop playing before I even reach 4th stage or so! And I know my dad was playing secretly after I slept and he beat the game… -__- Ended up I never beat the game :x

That is the crazy thing about that game. Everybody I know who played it played it a LOT. In spite of the frustration. In spite of falling into the holes every time you try to cross the screen. In spite of trying desperately to float up out of the stupid hole only to fall. For the seventy-bajillionth time. In spite of it making absolutely no sense. Everybody I have discussed this evil thing with was the same way.
I know it was awful. I knew it was awful when I was playing it. I had better games (like River Raid and Pitfall) that I would have been tons happier playing. I kept playing and kept being frustrated. Can't for the life of me say why.

_I was always skeptical about that story but apparently it is true.
Snopes verifies it as true (funny I'd never looked this one up before). -
The worst one I tried to play was Gilligan's Island on NES.

As for the worst game I've played, I'll say Total Recall on the NES as well as Ring King (also on the NES). Truly terrible…

One word. Lemmings.
That game was teh suck. It even messed with my Genesis.I heard Superman 64 was bad too, but I never really played it.

**No way, I loved Lemmings.. At least, for the SNES..
-
Lemmings ruled
The PC version did anyway.
It was designed for a mouse, so I can see how the d-pad may have been frustrating. -
the fifth element on ps1 was really bad. very slow, very ugly, very useless.
-
O.D.T (Escape Or Die Trying) was really bad. Perhaps the game would have been decent if controls weren't so screwed up - I so hated the gameplay to the guts.
-
i bought this stupid computer game called "beanotown racing" and i thought it would be cool but its crap… stupid graphics and lousy cars!

**Hey, watch the triple posting there, sweetheart. You should've just edited your first, or something. But yes, Ramenman is awesome, yet the game sucks. As does the Kinnikuman game for the Famicom. Dire rubbish!
Oh, and are you quoting that L'Arc~En~Ciel guy at Otakon 2004? It had to be heard, to be believed.
Man, those American conventions are crazy and ironic. I wish I could attend another, but money is tight. Especially to fly over to Otakon 2005, and attend for three days, involving a hotel, etc. Nightmares, Oh Hell.
-
Well i dont know how to quote multiple ppl, tell me tell me tell me! Yeah it was i really carnt get that image out of my mind.

I was going to think of something really funny before, and say the worst game I ever played was… well, Your and something else. You know what I mean.
Anyway, onto another terrible game I've played. Cho Aniki for the Super Famicom.
That was a lot of fun in a chopper.
-
sharktale for xbox is the absolute worst game theyve come out for xbox. it freggin sucks ballz
-
I've played plenty of Godawful games, most of which I thankfully can't remember now (Except Rascal for the Psx)
however, in terms of severe dissapointment and Frustraion, Vagrant Story is an easy winner. I purchase the (still fairly expensive) game, thinking: "It's from Square. It's an RPG. It's ratings are through the roof, and it's supposed to have an awesome story, and a nifty battle system What can go wrong?"
My question was promptly answered. After a few hours play I could conclude several things. Most importantly: It was boring as hell.
It turned out to be a dungeon crawler, where you went from one room to another, the "outstanding" Graphics showing 0,5% variation. I'd enter a room, kill a bat/zombie wolf-type enemy (In 4 hours play, these enemy types had been repeated numerous times) and push a few boxes. Repeat.
I tried to find the "superb soundtrack, but found nothing but dull, low background music and repetitive sound effects.I could go on forever about the slow, frustrating battle system, which is all about whether your weapon has +4Dragon or -2beast, meaning you'll find yourself dealing 1 damage a hit to a boss, because your weapon is wrong.
Suffice to say, I hated it.
-
worse game i played? eh….secret of evermore for SNES. MY hero was stuck at the first boss, couldn't even move -_-
-
I absolutly totaly forgot about "Enter The Matrix". The crappest game on the Playstation 2 if you ask me, the only one good thing about that Hunk-O-Junk was the little Hacker game that only took like an hour if that to finish. It did make you feel like you where in a database. If they worked more on that part of the game and sold that for £39.99, then maybe just maybe i would of got it. But they way it is, with they really made Acting, Models, Animation and Gameplay. I wont go near it with a Bargepole. Thank god i only rented it.
-
South Park: One word: Repeative. You only fight one type of enemy through each stage and the fact they don't give you enough of the strong ammo doesn't help, especially against the bosses. I love FPS's, but c'mon.
Tokyo Highway Racing: BAHAHAHAHAH! That is all.
-
The ECW wrestling games for Playstation. Great license, shitty games. The WWF Smackdown games were much better. (At least the first two)
-
The worst game ever was "A boy and his blob" it was short, and stupid and hand a very dumb ending.
-
Pictionary for the Nintendo System, and Britney's Dance Party for the PS1.
Don't ask me how I got to playing those games, but trust me on this one.
-
The shittiest game I have ever played would probobly be Batman Forever for SNES. The graphics sucked shit and it hadreally sketchy levels but the games structure was so bad that i never made it past level 1. Also, 3x3 Eyes for SNES sucked too.
