My favorite is probably… Rifle, followed by Cannon and Axe.

Actually about Luffy's attacks, in the dub Gomo Gomo no Bazooka is translated Gum Gum Double Barrel and I've always wanted to know what it's named after? Is it Barrels? Or something else cause a vaigualy remember the word barrel for something else.

I liked Luffy's Gomu Gomu no Firework :) it was cute and kind of pointless at the same time, but cute :)

I always liked Gatling Gun. Its a pretty sweet attack. But Luffy always sounds cooler when he says 'bazoooka'

Does anyone know why the dub changes most of Luffy's attacks names? It seems that one of the only things the dub does right is keep the original names so I was wondering why they would change ALL of Luffys moves but keep in Zoro's.

Two barrels, as in the barrels of a gun. I think a shotgun has two barrels.

Well that's kinda dumb. They edited a gun reference into another gun reference. But I guess this one is less aparent.

I was somewhat taken aback when I heard it. I thought they'd actually grown a pair. Then came the Kuro arc and the merged episode… and THE CHAKRAM OF DOOOOM.
Not to mention Hospitals, poison suction cups, and dungeons. HAH.
Still, Double Barrel is eons above "Gum Gum Big Boom" or something. I'll give 'em some points for that one.
… And, sadly, that's about it.

I mean I know they wouldent show someone getting their arm bit off on Yu-gi-oh or Pokemon, yet they let it slide on One Piece. That's one thing about this dub. Sometimes they surprise you, then most times it's as we expected.

I LOVE Gomu Gomu no Stohm
When he uses it to beat Crocodile and that symphony music is playing in the background, you can't help but clap and get all excited :lol:
Really, it's my favorite attack and in my opinion the best fight so far.
(I know people wall say Eneru is but to me the final confrontation of that fight was slow and stupid.) -
the attack vs crocodile was the best, when he spinned himself to fly then attack upwards

I thought Gum Gum slingshot (or bow shot) was an interesting move. Partilly due to the way Luffy does it. Gum Gum Storm come in second, along that "twaing" move he does with his pistol attack and the Ax move..

Gomu Gomu no Storm. Don´t need to explain why since Red_XV already mentioned everything I wanted to say.
Just want to add that because of that I watch that scene very often. It is just awesome in the anime. :D -
I personally like Luffy's Gomu-Gomu no Tako-Hanabi (Gum-Gum Octopus-Fireworks), the move he used to fight Ener's mantra (and set himself up for the Bazooka & Rifle)

For humor, my favorite attack of Luffy's is Gomu Gomu no Buh and yeah, Storm is the coolest attack around.

Gomu Gomu no Rocket is cool because of its use, I like Tsuichi/Screw alot too. Storm is the coolest though. Gatling gun next.

Why can't he grab something, launch himself so far from the something and do his rocket, and then let go of the something and combo the rocket with a bakooza.

I really,really liked Gomu Gomu no Storm….
It really was cool with that bckground music it came with when Luffy used it on crocodile -

It's gomu gomu baka. I remember it being translated that way for the Null translation of that chap and the way it was said in the anime sounded close enough.

That or download the raw of the ep where Luffy uses Gomu Gomu no Baka which is either ep 182 or 183.

I´m sorry but I had to rethink it again. Now to me Nami´s "Happiness Punch" is the best attack in One Piece. She was able to take out seven guys at once with it, and among these guys were the future Pirate King, the apprentice of Zef the Red Leg, the son of Yasop, a reindeer mutant, the King of Alabasta, the Captain of the Guard of Alabasta and an Alabasta native creature. Not even Gold Roger himself could have had such a powerful attack. All beware the fearsome HAPPINESS PUNCH!!! :lol:
