Finally found my schoolbag with all my homework in it. I looked for it everywhere for 3 hours straight, and on the second day, I 'ooked some more but gave up. My little sister found it on top of a cabinet in open view.
I realised that when people are looking for something, they rarely look up.

Got my University's Jazz Band Audition music today. I'm a little disappointed, considering how hard the concert music is.

The day that had the potential to be a great day was ruined. It was outstandingly hot though.
Spent ages talking to parents trying to get my ISP Email that I can almost remember.
My Brother has kept shouting over the game all day (he plays with Mic)
I finished a good campaign pic for a match, and literally like 5 seconds after, my computer heats out.
My Mad Dog(s) has(-ve) been barking all day really loudly.
Tried to download a program I really wanted that I could never get to download properly. It got up to halfway then stopped.

Yea, I'm an 18 year old ready to leave for her first year of college. One of my best friends left yestderday, two more leave saturday(the 21st). My other best friend leaves after me, but she is going to be gone for a week at the end of August….I don't leave till September 13. I'm ready to start my new life.

Oh, seems like an interesting thread. Today is a good day. My mom really liked the birthday card I made for her (I feel super proud of it cuz it's got chibi Eneru, Crocodile, and Doflamingo on it :wub:)
Also, I'm excited because tomorrow "big bro" is coming back home after spending a couple months in China. Me and my mom talked of his return, and I felt like this was the first heart to heart conversation I've had with my mom ever. normally she either gives me a lecture or we riff and I end up pulling a Luffy face (as in the Hancock attack fail one), which is followed by her exasperation, which although funny, isn't really a serious conversation that I genuinely enjoy.
She seemed fairly confident that he'd come back a changed person, and I was like "yeah right he'll probably punch me in the stomach like always," and we got into deep conversation, which I could really relate to having just returned from a trip to Israel not too long ago. It made me realize some important things:
! 1. When you travel, no matter what your family is like, eventually you always want to return home because there's a bond that can't break, and sometimes the best way to realize this is to leave for a while
2. Appreciate that you have a home to return to
3. No matter what, a person comes in a package that has both positive and negative things. When you travel, you'll miss that special person(s), and when you come back you realize what you love and hate most about them.
So, you could say it's been a great day because I've had an enlightening conversation for the first time with my mom and it got me thinking.Sorry for boring you all with a long post! I'm not sure if a philosophical day is really the type of thing people here had in mind, but if it's bothersome, I can delete this if you want.

Spent most of the morning ripping out Ivy and various other plants in my garden. Next up Ive got to reseal the summer house, replace a glass panel, cut and replace the window boards, sand and repaint the entire building in and out.
Long work indeed, though the end result will be worth it.

My relatives in China bought me a ton of gifts. I now have two pandas (a girl and a boy) who are dressed like the Red Guard. they are surprisingly really well made, since the clothing has real buttons and zippers. I never thought the Red Guard could ever look that adorable before. I can't help but love 'em. I also got a great Luffy t-shirt! This makes me very happy. So it's another good day
of procrastinating on my summer reading assignments. -

I'd have someone build one for me for much cheaper. I remember strawhatrican gave me a couple of good links a while back that give both great quality and at low cost.
