Been meaning to mention this for awhile, but the way my monday night class teacher speaks is…unusual.
We're talking about argumentative papers and stuff and instead a word like "viewpoint" or "position" she uses the word "stand". Which IS still correct English, but every time she says something like "defend your stand" or "make sure your stand is the strongest" I keep making Jojo jokes in my head that distract me throughout the entire class.
Well, my evening was quite pleasant. The Mind and Language exam…I try not to say how I did on exams, so I don't jinx myself. But there was one thing worth mentioning:
! There was one question that had me calculating the linguistic intelligence of a 27 month child. It's not accurate, but it's an easy math problem. I solved it with complete ease.
! I then went to the second part of the problem.
"What is the upper bound of the data?"
! I had no fucking clue. Maybe I'm an idiot, but I didn't realize what it was asking for. It was open book, so I searched through the book like a mad man.
! I couldn't figure it out, so I just turned it in and shrugged it off. BUT before I left, my professor stopped me. He pointed out the 'upper bound' problem, and told me how to do it.
! SERIOUSLY! He didn't tell me the answer, but he might as well have!
! I owe this guy.
Found out this morning that Meat Loaf is going to play at the Ohio State Fair in July. I'm seriously thinking of going.
We just were in our old house again, throwing out a lot of shit. Again.
I was about to hit 11 when we left, and even after all this time there was still some of my old stuff in there. The things we found today … aaah, the memories.
I never noticed how awfully small my room was.
Man, I really need to get more than like five hours of sleep every night. I'm used to having to get up early, but I am starting to group weary of it.
We've gotten a new suitemate, though luckily I'm still by myself. I…don't really care for him that much. He's loud, leaves the television blaring at night, not too bright, cares more about drinking and going out and partying than anything else, and commits one of my major pet peeves, plays loud rap songs, the exact same six or seven that everyone else has been playing aloud for the past three-four years.
I miss my old dorm from last year. It was so much nicer. And I miss my old roommates from that time. They were quirky and had character.

Dear god, i feel like shit right now. I've just recovered from a three week long fever, and now i feel depressed as shit.
Not only do i have three bloody weeks of difficult homeworks to deal with, and reports to turn in (which i of course hasn't done), now i just found out my grandmother's died.
I just wanna crawl under a rock and die. So i guess this is what it feels to be depressed?
I'm moving back to NY with my parents to look for a job on Thursday. I'm neither happy nor sad about this predicament but I'm disappointed by the way Greek government has chosen to deal with its citizens.
I have a lot of thinking to do and more so a lot of action to take to get on the right road once again. Most of all I'm going to miss the amazing women I met here on my 3 year detour, on the other hand I can't go on living on bare minimum wage for the rest of my life.
Greece is too much like the Arab nations to joke about.
I'm supposed to study for my finals but I still haven't started. 27 days left.
Oh, and today, I found an old essay I wrote when I was like 13 years old. It's about hapiness and it's really good (for a dumb teenager). I don't even remember writing it that way but it's more fitting than ever and I wouldn't change a thing now.
Ugh. Heater issues are back. The service people came and fixed it but they fixed it weird. Now, if I want hot water, I have to twist the knob all the way to the extreme left, and stand there letting the water run for like two minutes until it turns hot. After ten seconds, it turns to burning, steaming hot and I bear it for as long as I can and then carefully turn the knob slightly towards the right, which makes the water freezing cold. Then I quickly turn it back to the extreme left, and the water stays cold for another minute or so before it suddenly becomes burning hot again. I sound like such a brat, but this is ruining my showers. Plus I'm starting to feel a little sneez-y from the cold. And my parents are being rather unsympathetic and believe that I just need to learn how to work it properly. =.=

At least your shower has pressure, probably. All mine does is sprinkle water and it feels like I'm not getting clean at all. I honestly think it would do me more good to just fill a bucket with water and slam it against my face.

I got a nice visit from a friend of mine. My big sis drove us to the Japanese grocery store. Pretty small place but with LOTS of imported Japanese food and anime merchandise. A young boy noticed my t-shirt and said "One Piece!!! [Wanpisu!] D:" He threw a friendly punch to my chest saying "Gomu Gomu. >:D" He also said "You like One Piece! :D" And I tried to reply saying "I love One Piece! >w<" in Japanese.
I bought a One Piece Can Badge and got a Nami button.
Girls don't realize how easy it is for them to make money on the internet. Create a Youtube account. Dress up a little and do your hair, make yourself look cute. Talk about gaming and technology. You'll get enough views and subscribers to become a Youtube Partner, and you'll be making money by talking in front of a camera for 3 minutes at a time.

I was praised by the speaker because of my questions, and I danced in the street with some friends of mine.
My laptop is filled to the brim with Spyware, Adware, and other various Trojans and whatnot at the moment; apparently, I also can't open any application whatsoever, (from the Command Prompt to Paint), but can open Firefox.

Anyway, I had my first midterm today. It went relatively well - nothing too shocking, could pretty much answer all but a few questions. I already know I answered at least one wrongly, though. We got to keep the question paper and I wrote down my answers on it, so I could kinda figure out my score now, but I've never been the type to do that. I'll just wait for the results to be announced.

Also, I did my cheesecake. It turned out surprisingly okay. It looks a complete mess and it's all crumbly so I won't be posting pictures, but it tastes pretty good. Yaaayyyy.

i started to watch my Baccano DVD on Tuesday, and i finished it today.
amazing series. one of my all time favourite animes. it was almost flawless IMO, seriously.
the "multiple viewpoints and events at different times within the same storyline" thing was a brilliant idea.
i don't think there was one character that i disliked, they all had their own great quirks.
Issac and Maria are quite possibly my favourite anime duo of all time. they never failed to leave me in stitches with their comical simple minds.
and to all those who recommended the english audio, thanks a lot! you were right, the voices were pretty good indeed.
if i was a reviewer i would give this anime 9/10 and 5 gold stars.
I would watch this anime again with friends, but alas they are not into anime enough =[
i reckon they'd have really enjoyed the story too.
regardless, the comments by the vice president were inspiring to me.
the ones about how some good stories don't have an ending, and that a story doesn't have to stick to one main character.
Baccano has inspired me to implement this kind of thing into my own writing.
I don't have to worry about trying to squeeze everything into a short amount of time, i don't have to strain myself to focus on just one character.
i'm going to let my imagination run wild and turn my story into one that's fully explored, characters and concepts and everything else, not cramped up and rushed. 
and thank you AP. if i hadn't seen your praise for it on here, i would have never purchased Baccano and tried it.

Okay, i'm starting to jump back after my little depression phase. School's starting to look brighter for me (having finally done everything i missed during my three week fever.), and my grandmother's funeral was surprisingly not as emotional as i would have thought. Guess i dried out all of my tear canals beforehand.

It's still -4°C outside, I still haven't studied (even though school is really pressuring right now), my back's still fucked up so I can't exercise and I have gained 5 pounds over the last weeks. I know what you mean, I moved away from my hometown to study and it really makes a difference when you have close friends nearby, people who actually know you.
Anyway, I just got brutally woken up by a passing demonstration outside my door, by trade unions, who decided to have the trains & buses strike again today. I'm so sick of this country. No government, no efficient public transport.. It's getting ridiculous.
Just got back from two short plays! They're chamber readings, and a good friend of mine played the male lead in both of them. It was absolutely hilarious and quite well-done, I felt. Everyone just kept laughing. Awesome night, overall. I almost didn't go because 1) tickets were sold out and 2) I felt a little sick the past couple of days and I've been trying to set aside more time to study. But my friend really wanted me to go, and went to some trouble to get a ticket for me - and I'm really glad I agreed to go.

Flipping through the newspaper today, I was a little surprised to find the second Rebuild of Evangelion move being reviewed alongside the other movies that are coming out today. Rather amusing read.
Today was great. I really felt alive. I don't know why, but that's just the way it was.
Finally I went back to my room, I´m Happy.
and I'll probably do a cosplay of Sweden from Hetalia.
I forgot to mention, I participated in a march against the government of my city.
(had fights and tear gas).
My day was alright.

Originally, my family had planned to go to Boston, New England, and New York City for Spring Break. Unfortunately, too many worth while family members are far too busy during this week, so the trip was cancelled.
In other news, my sister is going to L.A. for an interview…..and I'm going with her for fun. YEP! Spring Break in LA!
It does kind of suck that I won't be trying some New England lobster rolls or seeing a Broadway show (would have loved to see the Greenday show, or hell, a show I've seen before). But LA DOES have that 0.0000009% chance of meeting a celebrity.
I'll be gone Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Unfortunately, I might be stuck in a hotel some of those days.
